I’ve been a bit slow on posting reviews of the last couple of Top Water, but it’s time to catch up. Overall, the Top Water was great, and I have no problem recommending Top Water for anyone wanting one.

here is what I would do, either pinch a split shot or wrap some lead wire around the hook bend where it comes out of the bottom of the frog this should keep the center of gravity below the frog, keeping your bait upright.

Depends on what school your at and how good you are. I played varsity my sophomore year and was second off the bench, my friend was a freshman and started, but he made top 40 nat’l team. One thing thats always good to do is impress your coach at practice, make aggressive mistakes, don’t be passive. It also helps that you get along with and trust your teammates, if you don’t work together, it won’t matter how good you are, a solid team can easily shut down a collection of individuals. Work on your shot and tactics, and it won’t hurt to be a fast swimmer either. At the high school level, effort will go a long way.

The depth of the ice below the water level is given byalcohol depth = dcube length = Ldepth below water = hMass of the ice = mass of water displaced + mass of alcohol displaced.L*rho(ice) = h*rho(water) + d*rho(alcohol)h = [L*rho(ice) - d*rho(alcohol)] / rho(water)rho(ice) = 0.917, rho ethyl alcohol = 0.789 rho(water = 1.00h = 19.3 mm

IMHO, I think any 7-10″ floating worm would have the same effect.I am surprised(& slightly dissapointed), that Doug Hannon is pushing “Info-mercial” tackle. But to be honest, I think he deserves the money he’s gonna recieve from his “Snake” lure. I always liked “The Bass Professor” and if Roland, Hank P & Bill D can “sell-out” for the big info-money “deniro” why can’t Doug? So, yeah! Go Buy the Snake and know your helping out Doug in some remote way! Thats my 2 cents.

This is how I did it:1.Stand staright in the water.2. take a deep breath.2.pretend ur gonna flip ur self on top of ur bed. Do that. (like push w/feet, then ur feet will go up.3. u will get covered in water for a few sec. Just go real limp.4. Ur gonna float.5.Once ur above water, just paddle ur feet: One up, the oother down, so on.6. Put ur hands kinda staright. Don’t move them!Good luck

You need to raise your system pressure by adding more water. Pressure equals height in a heating system. You add water, the pressure raises, and you bleed the air vent until you get water. The reason it works when the system is cranking is the higher the water temperature , the more the water expandsand this equals higher pressure.

The concrete foundation, or pier, sits on top of pilings which extend to bedrock. The pilings are driven through the bed of the river, cut off to the same level, capped off, then the foundation is built on top of the cap. Hope this helps.

It is some of the carbon granules that have floated out of the top of the filter from when you filled it with water. No biggy – it is normal and harmless.

Mollies mostly hangout in the top region of tanks and they feed off the top of the water. So its normal for them to hang out on the top. Mollies are brackish water fish meaning that they live in water that is salty but not as salty as ocean water. There are instructions on how to make water brackish online but if you have nonbrackish fish with the mollie, half or 1/4 strength brackish water can be a little beneficial for the other fish and not as uncomfortable for the mollie as pure freshwater. I hope this helps. Also doing weekly 25% water changes helps.

You’ve already got some great answer’s- Thumbs UP DD, Brddog, Sonny. Chug Bugs, Hula Poppers, Pop’ R’s, and Devils Horse’s are all GREAT topwater lures. However, for more “active/aggressive” Bass you can’t beat a Heddon “Super Spook Jr” or a LC “Sammy”. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44342____SearchResultshttp://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_29822____SearchResultsI caught (no lie) over 70 Bass last week using a “walk the dog” presentation with a Super Spook Jr. I find you can cover more water MUCH, MUCH, quicker using a Spook (or dog-walking bait) than any other TW. If your gonna fish Topwater you def need to learn the “walk the dog” retrieve. Here’s a youtube that might help- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FTd_S-DI40&feature=PlayList&p=8BD49730E8755F97&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=28

It all depends If they are Full or Not full with oxygen when they die. When They are They float up to the top Because The fish can No longer Control there Swim Bladder to stay at the bottom of the aquarium. At death. THey fill up With air and they will float to the top and have no Buyoancy Anymore.And. when they have no oxygen. they cant float up to the top.

hey man, well it really all depends on the water temp. and the sun light. fish dont like to be close to the top of the water when the sun it really high and bright because it hurts their eyes. so when the sun is up really hot and heavy fish deeper waters. the fish stay cooler down there and the sun isnt all in their eyes. now if you head out first thing in the morning or in the evening, fish a little closer to the top of the water. just think, higher and hotter the sun the farther down they will be. now for your colors that all depends on water clarity. if you are fishin in darker, merkeier waters you want to fish with a flashyer color. use a chartruse (yellow) spinner or a silver and blue crank bait. things of that nature. something that the sun will reflect off of and get the fishes attention. if the water is clear. you will want to tone down the color. use a darker color lure. if you use a flashy or bright color it will blend in with the water surface. the wind really doesnt matter. that just really effects you as a person more than it does fish. if the water is choppy you might want to switch to a plug or a good chatter bait. but all in all if the wind is blowing and realy isnt affecting the water dont worry about it. just turn your back to the wind and let the wind take your lure where you are wanting it. if the wind is blowing against where you are wanting to toss your leader or lure add a little weight. if you do that the lure will try to sink to work it a little faster or add a twitch to the rod. man i hope this helps you out a bit good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience

I would clean it with bleach and once cleaned add a few drops every few days to keep it fresh.
