There is a “church” in the United States that promotes the slogan “God hates fags!” This group whom you spoke of pickets gay parades, gay bars, gay events, etc. This group has even picketed the funerals of gay people, shouting to the attendees that the gay person is now burning in hell for being a “fag.” On its website, this group has a counter which updates daily how long a certain gay person has supposedly been in Hell. Recently, the “God hates fags” group has begun protesting at military funerals, claiming that the soldier was killed because the USA is supporting the homosexual agenda. Is there any truth to their claims?Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, “There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.” Notice that homosexuality does not make this list. It would be more biblical to promote phrases such as “God hates liars” and “God hates murderers.” In fact, the Bible nowhere directly states that God hates homosexuals or homosexuality.That does not mean that the Bible approves of homosexuality. The Bible consistently tells us that homosexuality is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Homosexuality is described as an abomination. Romans 1:26-27 teaches explicitly that homosexuality is a result of a continual rebellion against God. When a person continues in disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over,” allowing them to experience their sinful desires and the resulting consequences. First Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is immoral and unnatural. It is a perversion of the “natural order” and more importantly, of God’s view of sex.With all that said, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a greater sin that any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).Does God hate homosexuals? No. Does God approve of homosexuality? Absolutely not. Can a person truly be a Christian and at the same time a practicing homosexual? No (1 Corinthians 6:9). The “God hates fags” ministry fails miserably in the message it proclaims. Ephesians 4:15 instructs us to “speak the truth…in love.” First Peter 3:15 teaches us to proclaim the truth, but to do so with “gentleness and respect.” We must uphold the truth of God’s Word in proclaiming the sinfulness of homosexuality. However, we must uphold this truth in a loving, gentle, and respectful manner. We must warn homosexuals about the eternal dangers of continued rebellion against God. Both SJax and Freddie T oughtta do better this week, but don’t write off LenDale against Indy. The Titans have built their team around beating the Colts, and give them more trouble than just about anybody. Last week, the Titans ran on Jacksonville — Jacksonville! — by sending the speedy-ish Chris Brown wide and away from the Jags’ big tackles. This week, they’re more likely to send the stronger LenDale up the middle on the speedy Colts’ defense. Indy was lousy against the run last year — just lousy. Don’t know why the Saints didn’t go more with Deuce, rather than the short passing game last week. But, even with their starting safety back, I’m not sold on the idea the Indy suddenly has a defense. And, you know the Titans are gonna pass that much. I kinda like LenDale just a smidge over Fred, because he should get any goal line looks, too.-Regards!

I agree with you that Stewart will would be a better starter, but it is very close. Stewart plays in a Run Heavy offense, so even with Deangelo stealing carries, both will prolly get 10 carries. Fred Jackson is with the Bills, who have always been more of a 50/50 team (passing/rushing), and with Lee Evans & T.O., Edwards may throw more this year. Plus add Dominic Rhodes, who will steal carries from Jackson.

Too bad the photo link doesn’t work. Oh, well. I’ve had an all white part Maine Coon, part Turkish Van, part whosie-whats-it cat who got up to 18 pounds. My current big boy is 16 pounds.As several have noted, the key is determining if you can feel their ribs under their fur. The ribs are just behind their front legs, which seems a little close to the head, but that’s where they are.You have two trips to two different doctors now:1. The vet — He/she can weigh Fred and determine if Fred is just a big cat or if he’s needing to go on a cat diet. Have fun with that.2. Your doctor — If your back hurts a lot, you need to get that checked, Fred or no Fred. Naturally, carrying heavy loads will contribute to back pain. But heavy loads are made up of more than big cats. Heavy purses, brief cases, or whatever can also contribute to the back pain. High heels can get you too. And it might not even be particularly related to the weight you’re lifting. There could be an issue you need to be addressing, and picking up Fred could just be the amount of weight needed to signal your body to remind you that you need to take care of the problem at hand.You have a choice between going to your regular doctor or going to a chiropractor. Chiropractors are particularly adept at adjusting troublesome back areas, but your problem might be something outside of their expertise. Perhaps going to both might be in order.I wish you well. That was the blockbuster speech of the night.Usually I start to fall asleep when I hear Fred Thompson talk (why use morphine? Take 10 minutes of Uncle Fred and you’ll be out cold).However, he really lit it up tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. It was energetic, strong, passionate, and even took a couple of nice whacks at the Dems.Well done!
