Check out this review:
No joke, when I was looking for Pike Musky the other day, I was having one heck of a time finding it online. When I did finally find it, I made sure I bought it quickly. What follows is my review.
I was impressed with Pike Musky plain and simple. When I placed my order, I had in in my hands within 3 days and that’s no joke. The key is looking for a seller with over a 100 feedback rating on Ebay. I’ve even included an Ebay listing to Pike Musky in this review to make it even easier on you.

No the water is a bit to warm for them there. I grew up on the next lake over, Lake Tawokani which has catfish, bass, sand bass, crappie and stripers. It gets super hot there and I have seen water temps in the mid 90′s which is way to warm for Pike and Musky. You would need to go a bit north of Oklahoma to find those species.

Depends where you live.Im in Australia, and we have a big 8 foot tank set up with a Saratoga Leichardti which is massive and beautiful. If you want to really impress people, convert it to marine a throw a few Pterios Volitans – Absolutely stunning – and poisonous.Speaking of which – Aqua One did a set up to advertise one of their tanks – and it had the top half of a scuba suit/ mask to look like a diver was reaching into the tank and had a Volitans in it. It looked great. And to the guy below me – The Saratoga IS in the Arowana family.

My god, Bud, your in the middle of Gods country up there, with all the specialty game fish up there, Bass should be a last resort for fishing, (although I love Bass fishing to), I much prefer to fish for the first five fish on your list, not to mention Walleye, or Lake Trout, which are also a blast to catch, and here are some great spots for you to do just that…………….

Im not sure what your definition of cheap is but you have a few different optionsHere is a charter company that is located in the poconos:http://www.poconofishingadventures.com/If you are into fly fishing and are looking for some large trout, there is a guide service that you can contact at:http://www.riversflyfishing.com/leh.phpIf you are willing to drive a little farther, you can go on a deep sea charter. There are so many out of new jersey. I would recomend the Miss Barnegat Light. That boat is bigger and faster than most. It will only cost you $45 if you have your own gear.http://missbarnegatlight.com/Hope this helps

There are so many of them out there that are perfect for what you want that it makes it really hard to say, and as usual, will basically come down to what you are willing to spend. Here is a great site with mail order if you choose, you’ll have to narrow down your search accordingly, but most of these combos will work for you. You can also buy the rod separately if you choose, I’m not sure about any ‘Multiplier’, never heard of that……………..

Yellow Lake in Burnett county is a very good fishery. 50+ in. musky, 20 lb. northern and 10lb. walleye.

Northerns- Even under the ice Northerns love weed-edges and weedy “flats” areas that are near to deeper water. Targeting Northerns/Musky isn’t too hard! Find a weedy bay, “bottleneck”, or “flat” and bait-up with either a “dead sucker/shiner” or live shiner. A good way to fish for N/M is to use tip-ups. Live minnows & larger Rapala-minnow Jigs work well at times. Hint- Take a cue from spear-house guys and use a decoy to “attract” Northerns/Muskys to your bait. IE-Drill a hole 10-12FT from your fishing hole and dump a decoy about 4-6 FT under the ice. Northerns are curious fish and WILL come to investigate.Walleyes- A little tougher to target but easier than Bass. From personal experience, I have found that Walleye (even under the ice) like the early morning-late evening to feed,(evening being “best”). Use minnows/small shiners. Walleye love sunken islands, rock piles with nearby vegatation, & shelfs/drop-offs. A good idea is to go where you caught them in the fall and “start” your hunt there. Walleye love to feed on perch, so if you decide to use a Rapala-jig use “perch color” and tip it with a piece of minnow or leech. Bass- It’s really tough to “target” Bass. I have caught a handful of Bass while chasing Bluegills under the ice. So, obviously, shallow-water, weedy, areas are a good place to start. Minnows/shiners would work. Hope this helps ya? Good luck!

I actually live in MN and fish in Canada frequently and have never seen anyone using a Banjo Minnow to catch Northern/Musky.Not to say you couldn’t catch them with the BM, but, I can almost guarantee you will run out of Banjo Minnow plastic bodys long before your fishing trip is over! Most people use giant Titanium In-line spinners, HUGE Rapala Shallow Shad Raps, Giant Spinnerbaits, & huge Jigs for Musky. The problem with Banjo for Pike? After 1 medium-sized Pike your Banjo Minnow “body” is going to be “toast”. Expect to catch 1-2 Pike per B-Minnow. I hope your bringing 50-100+ replacement bodys? When I go to Canada I go through bags and bags(over 100) of 4″-5″ Curly-tailed Grubs and I’m fishing for Walleye & Smallmouth Bass!In Canada, when I want to catch a Northern, it’s really VERY easy. Tie on a 12LB “invisi-wire” leader and a 6″ Rapala Husky Jerk in Silver. I’ve caught over 30 Northerns (to 42″) with the same lure all day! I actually wore the hooks out! Ya can’t do that with a Banjo Minnow! Hope this helps ya? Good fishing!PS-I think Fubar owns stock in Banjo! (lol)

Lake of the WOODS and you don’t need to go into Canada. There is excellent fishing in the Minnesota sector.. Also Voyageurs NP. But you ain’t see’d nuttin until you have fished Bank’s Lake, which is my secret location. Monster Walleyes, Smallmouths, trout and Perch.

For bass and walleye, you can’t really beat an older Ambassadeur C-Three or C-Four series period. Ah, hell, same for either pike or muskie. And since both sell for between ninety and a hundred bucks, they’re a hell of a deal, too.You might even want to consider an Ambassadeur Revolution S… damn it, I mean a REVO. At least for the bass and walleye. The ‘S’ model is the basic base model and only one hundred-thirty bucks. You can spend the other twenty dollars on a couple spools of some good ten- or twelve-pound mono.

Yes I have caught Pike before. can’t go wrong with a Hot Steal Floating Rapala along the weedbeds. You don’t always have to go deep to catch pike, they are predators and will go shallow (like Muskie they love the weedbeds). I’d use a steal leader if I were you, they have extremely sharp teeth and a 8lb pike could tear off your 16lb test line. I’d say spring is the best time to catch pike, in some areas, when right when the ice thaws is the best time to catch pike because they have been underwater for so long with limited food source, and they are looking for a quick meal.

For Bass go with a top water bait like a Rapala color of your choice .For a Walleye use a leach or worm on the bottom at night .For a Northen Pike use a chub three feet of the bottom along the weeds in 15 feet of water .For a Musky use a Large stick bait jerking along the out side of visable weeds .

Try using worm colored tube jigs
