well you should try to find a place where 1) they wont card you or 2) have a friend or someone whos over 18 sign for you and say that they are your guardianyou dont push it straight through because the jewelry is curved, the size gauge is usually at 14 or 16, you may have to look online for places that sell sterilized equipment

Even though you might have all the professional tools, you are not a professional. You did not go through training, you do not know how deep or shallow to pierce the skin, etc. The risks are infection, piercing rejection, migration, scarring and scar tissue.

I had something like that form below mine, i tried popping it with a stick pen and it never changed at all just bleed a little (DUH)
I went back to have the shop look at it and apparently while it was healing i hit it on something and it formed a scar of somesort, they directed me to get some tea tree oil and rub over it a few times a day and that could help to reduce the look…..I did that and it took it away for the most part, I can still see it but thats only because i know its there……I would have them check it first before messing with it and see what they say but if its what i had get some tea tree oil!!! Good Luck

it is illegal to peirce another person’s belly button without a liscense to do so. The tools are not somthing you can buy everywhere because its illegal to pierce belly buttons without a liscenseMy sister used a needle to do it but then a week later it got infected. infact I know of two people who tried to pierce there own belly button. both did it for the same reason as you, their mom wouldn’t let them. when my friend did it she couldn’t get it through the other side because the skin was tough and she couldn’t gett it far enough in.shops shouldn’t use a piercing gun when they do belly piercing cause its not very sanitary so i dont think they sell any guns for that.also some people use saftey pins…DONT because it will surley get infected.if you are going to pierce yourself be concious of the metal you use to do it withlist of metals to use from best to second option and so onImplant grade stainless steel silvergoldtitaniumhere is a site for buying the the piercing needle belowhttp://www.mspiercing.com/orhttp://www.mspiercing.com/Product/PIERCI…also if you are wanting a 14g ring use a 12g needleon a side note even if you your piercing done by a professionalthese are the side affects of piercing your belly buttonBacterial infection (where you had the piercing)Excessive (a lot of) bleedingAllergic reactions (especially to certain kinds of jewelry)Damage to nerves (for example, you may lose feeling at the area that gets pierced)Keloids (thick scarring at the piercing site)Dental damage (swelling and infection of tongue, chipped and broken teeth, choking on loose jewelry)if your desperate. I know your gonna do it no matter what. just be safe because most people who pierce themselve get infected so just buy some peroxide.

Ya she is totally ok, I remember when my little one was only a few weeks old I remember thinking her little belly sounded like a baby bongo drum when i would play with her bear on her belly.
December 28th, 2010 at 4:03 pm
the needle shouldn’t be bigger than the ring because you need the skin to be tight around the piercing. if the needle was bigger than there would be more risk for infection and it wouldn’t stay quite as well
December 29th, 2010 at 4:02 am
i wouldn’t recommnd it since your still living with your mom show her respect andyou know what that could get infected since your friend “abby” isn’t a proffesiona and youll regret it

Maybe you could go to the gym and get a personal trainer who can set up a good program for you. Good luck. You know I sort of have the same problem. I lost 30 pounds really fast just dieting about a year to a year and a half ago but I still don’t have everything toned like I’d like to.

u dont have to use a so called 14 guage needle a sterolised sewing needle would do the trick shurley you will have some of them in your house they work on ears . only pierce something your self as a very last resort and please sterolise everything you dont want an infection i would recomend going to the proffesionals though

That wasn’t very smart.but, I am not here to lecture you on that.Clean it 2 to 3 times a day with sea salt soaks.Make sure the water is lukewarm.

20 gallons is a good size:i wouldnt say any gravel as it can be sharp and they can eat suprisingly big things, smooth rocks or pebbles, sand is also an option but it can irritate there skin and eyes (especially when disturbed) they need water, an area to get out of said water and thats about it. things like plants and hides are all good addition. be creative but make sure anything used is very very well cleaned. they dont need any heating etc so u dont need to worry about thatP.S. i still maintain your “wild fire belly newt” is a Rough-skinned Newt (Taricha granulosa) its A: a native species B: look a bit like a fire belly newt (ish)check this out http://www.caudata.org/cc/species/Taricha/T_granulosa.shtmlhere‘s a caresheet for fire belly newts if u still think its one http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/salamanders/a/firebelliednewt.htmif u wanna email me a photo i can tell u exactly waht species you have as there are many species that look like fire belly newts (e.g. paddle tailed newts, other cynops specis and Taricha species and many more)

doing it yourself is a good way to get an infection, go to a piercer at a tattoo studio, they have to keep the same cleanliness standards that tattooist have, and don’t get it done at a shop at the mall they do not have autoclaves to sterilize their equipment

She may have a collection of fluid in her abdominal cavity called “ascites.” It is often a sign of a serious medical problem.
January 1st, 2011 at 4:22 pm
For me it was my cartilage piercings…I didn’t even really feel my navel piercing. It’s completely different for everyone especially since everyone has a different pain tolerance but typically cartilage piercings are going to hurt more than piercings that aren’t through cartilage. Kudos to you for getting pierced the right way.

It’s stomach area would be concave, not plump. it would look like a sick fish.
January 3rd, 2011 at 4:43 am
He was right, they do range anything from a 12-16. I have mine at a 14 and that seems to be the norm with my friends.if your trying to replace and old “ring” id go for a smaller and if its too loose or tight go up or down a number.Oh and dint forget the bigger the number the smaller the hole.

I’m not going to preach about going to a professional, because you’ve obviously made up your mind to do it yourself, but I also don’t condone self-piercing, so I’ll just tell you that a straight barbell won’t work for a couple reasons:1. The barbell will cause more pressure and you’ll have an increased risk of rejection. (You already know that)2. While the needle itself is straight, you pierce your navel at an angle, so you’ll need to use a banana bar or twister/CBR.
