    my retrieve depends on conditions. in the spring i slow roll over 2-6 feet of water, looking like a hungry baitfish looking for tasty eggs. once the spawn is over and bass are chasing schools, i reel faster and erratic, looking like fleeing baitfish. in the fall i drag them as slowly as i can across the bottom like a jig, looking like a dying shad. i love the versatility of spinners and if you fish them long enough you will too!
