So, were you looking for an answer? The kind of hemp you are talking about here is called industrial hemp. It has a very low THC content (0.5 to 1%) when compared to marijuana (3% to 20%).Hemp was not the only crop a person could use for paying taxes. Tobacco, cotton, lumber and alcohol have all been used as currency in the United States.

  2. Jerry Says:

Same way as for any other fish but I would use a coated leader or 50 pound wire leader for 9 1/4 inches above the hook

  3. Brandon Says:

I use live minnows such as small shiners , cut bait can be used as well. They like canals and places similiar to largemouth bass. Use heavy line and i reecommend a heavy action rod and reel they are good fighters.I have caught a few off artificials but live bait is the best, it can be fished under a bobber , or cut bait can be fished on the bottom

  4. PETER J Says:

start with 1.5 oz sinker- try the no roll or bank sinkers. if your rig moves, go up .5 oz, use thin line, as in braided line or super mono. and use a 7′ med-heavy rod, with a large capacity reel- your choice on what kind.

  5. pheasant tail Says:

When the shad make their annual run up the Delaware river, they are regularly caught on shad darts or wooly boogers

  6. Minileo Says:

Rinse the tackle box with a suspension of Bunker oil, 1 teaspoon in a bucket of water. That would leave a strong fishy smell. Also, make sure that your hands don’t have any smell that would make fish shy away, i.e, perspiration, sun tan lotion, cigarette or tobacco smell. You will not believe this, head boat mates in Long Island use a short burst of WD40 on the bait and lures.Don’t blame your mom, she’s just being a mother. Tell her in a nice way not do it.

Like shrimpboat captain said above, Fort Desoto park. But on your way there you’ll find a couple of causeways that are really good too. Just off to either side of Pinellas Bayway (highway 679) there are really good flats. One really good spot is the north side of the drawbridge at Tierra Verde. Right now there are plenty of redfish and even more flounder. Flounder are usually caught on the sandy spots of the flats and out into deeper water. Also check out the Skyway Bridge fishing pier. It’s a little slow there right now but the mackeral and kingfish should begin to pick up in the next couple of months.

Damn. As far as rod, reel, and line are concerned, you’re loaded. Best it could get. To get the longest cast, rig the jig head inside the tube. I’ve gotten more casting distance with the jig head inside more than outside because when the wind is blowing, it kind of puts force back onto the lure because it has two separate parts. But when you just put it inside of it the tube, ITSELF, is then weighted. I hope this makes sense, as I’m guessing it’s hard to understand.I couldn’t find any tube heads of that weight, but you are wanting to get a style of jig-head similar to this — http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_20806_100010006_100000000_100010000?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT

That’s a pretty decent high-end gaming rig that should turn to a kick a** rig once you overclock processor and go crossfire.Just take note that ATI HD 4890 is just a DX10.1 card and the new DX 11 HD 5xxx series is out. Here’s how the new HD 5850 and 5870 perform in games:http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-5850-review-crossfire/15http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-5850-review-crossfire/12

I have not fished in NC in a long time however I do know that Spanish Maks will be running I belive also that you might run across blues. If you are using artifical lures I would sugest Gotcha plugs or Rapoala Magnums (salt water) of the same size as the gotchas. If you want the “Choco Box” effect I would sugest getting some premade rigs from any bait shop, pier store, or super mart that sells fishing supplies. Make sure that you get the ones that have two snap swivels for hooks and one on the bottom for a weight. As far as hooks go I would sugest getting two different sizes so your types of fish will vary. I would not go any smaller than a 10 or any larger than a 2/0 for smaller fish (I would make sure to have about five different sizes between the extreems at equal intervals). If larger fish are present you might be able to go up to 5/0 but I do not know how big of a big fish you could catch on your current gear. I hope this helps and make sure you know your limits and minimum size (most of the people at the pier will be able to help you but it would not hurt to do a little research first).

I personally use a freeline with a #1 eagle claw baitholder hook when on the lake, however on the river i will use a slip sinker and snelled baitholder.Their are alot of rigs commonly used but I rarely find the need to do anything but drop line and bait. Below is a link to some commonly used and simple rigs.Good luck!http://www.americancarpsociety.com/cypr_2tam_rigs.html

  13. freesince1776 Says:

If you’re traveling to a new area to fish the best thing you can do is find a bait shop online (try yellowpages.com), give them a call and ask what tackle you should bring for the species of fish you want to catch. Nobody knows what works best, and just as importantly what is legal, than a local. They may even give you a tip on where to find the local hot spot if you stop in and drop a few dollars on bait.

  14. Fishing Says:

What state is the river in?Is it a fast or slow moving river? How deep is the river? Not trying to be a killjoy but these are important toward what baits/lures to use.I suggest a blue fox spinner (you can pick the up at walmart). Fish it mid level depth. If you want to try bait, then a bobber set 1 1/2 foot deep with a piece of a nightcrawler should definitely do the trick. Trout can be finicky this time of year (I don’t know where you live) because the water is starting to warm and trout are coldwater fish.
