What is the best bait for hatchery bred trout?
i know that the hatchery pellet power bait stuff works but what about something else?

Exactly, parasites always fall into the same trap and end up killing the host. It’s the wisdom of chopping down the apple tree to get to the apples easier … then next year there is nothing to produce the apples, so you’ve screwed yourself.Great Perspective, so true all through out time.

Gulp! tends to be a little stronger scented so it gets a few more bites, but it dries out pretty fast.Powerbait will get strikes too, thought maybe not quite as many as Gulp, but it lasts a LOT longer.I tend to steer toward powerbait unless I see something in the gulp line that I really like and powerbait doesn’t have the same lure.I hope this answered your question. I was fishing up at lake in NH when I discoverd power bait. Its awsome stuff.. use the pellet for ease but all flavors seem to work well. I always use it with a sinker set up and set the pole on a v stick and wait for a bite…then give a good tug and real in your fish.
