Poem. i didn't write it.But it makes my mom cry..i can't bare to read it far...RAGSAuthor: Edmund Vance CookeWe called him "Rags." He was just a cur,But twice on the Western Line,That little old bunch old faithful furHad offered his life for mine. And all that he got was bones and bread,Or the leavings of soldier grub,But he’d give his heart for a pat on the head,Or a friendly tickle and rub.And Rags got home with the regiment,And then, in the breaking away –Well, whether they stole him, or whether he went,I am not prepared to say.But we mustered out, Tail Grub some to beer and gruel,And some to sherry and shad,And I went back to the Sawbones School,Where I still was an undergrad. One day they took us budding MD’sTo one of those institutesWhere they demonstrate every new diseaseBy means of bisected brutes. They had one animal tacked and tiedAnd slit like a full - dressed fish,With his vitals pumping away insideAs pleasant as one might wish.I stopped to look like the rest, of course,And the beast’s eyes leveled with mine,His short tail thumped with a feeble force,And he uttered a tender whine. It was Rags, yes Rags! Who was martyred there,Who was quartered and crucified,And he whined that whine which is a doggish prayerAnd he licked my hand - and died. And I was no better in part nor wholeThan the gang I was found among,And his innocent blood was on the soulWhich he blessed with his dying tongue.Well ! I have seen men go to courageous death,In the air, on sea, on land !But only a dog would spend his breathIn a kiss from his murderer’s hand. And if there is no heaven for love like that,For such four-legged fealty- well !If I have any choice, I tell you flat,I’ll take my chance in hell.by Edmund Vance Cooke

There are so many soft-plastic baits currently available it could be any brand, which is a problem, most brands produce virtually the same type of lures as their competitors, you might want to look at these, possibly the lure you found could be one of thesehttp://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/index/index-display.jsp?id=cat600386&navAction=jump&navCount=1&cmCat=MainCatcat20166&parentType=category&parentId=cat20166

Romeo, Benvolio, Mercutio, and others from the Montague household make their way to the Capulet feast. With their masks concealing their identity, they resolve to stay for just one dance.Because Romeo continues to be lovesick for Rosaline, Mercutio teases him for being such a stereotypical hopeless lover. Mercutio then delivers his highly imaginative Queen Mab speech in which he describes how the fairy delivers dreams to humans as they sleep. The scene concludes with Romeo’s sense of foreboding at the forthcoming evening:for my mind misgivesSome consequence, yet hanging in the stars,Shall bitterly begin his fearful dateWith this night’s revels.

well i fish the grand river here in michigan and it is very rocky too. i use grub tails and i like the mimic minnow from northland tackle company when fishing in the rocks i cast and start reeling as soon as it hits the water. as far as finessing you can try a floating jighead behind a bottom bouncing slide sinker or a jig under a slip bobber. hope i was helpful. goodluck

What you are describing is a some sort of beetle larvae. Without seeing it it would be hard to tell exactly what kind of beetle. Usually the ones that are found in the house are carpet beetles, if you only find them once in a while its no big deal. If you find them often I would look into where they are coming from and if you need to treat your house for insects.Hope this helps!

you know I have been looking at your question three hours and I just have to say something. In kits, assortments, grab bag stuff you always get one great lure two decent ones and the rest is all crap. there are weight kits worth owning, there are worm hook sets worth owning (I say “worth owning” only in the pretense that you as a beginning angler focusing on artificial baits will need to use them to figure out which ones work for you in your water) and an assortment gives you the easiest way to become familiar with the many rather than the “right ones”. If you want an assortment you’ll get it but if you asked everyone here another question asking each one of them to list their five best baits for largemouth bass (2 for the morning, 1 for all day and 2 for the evening) you could make up a tackle box from heaven! and none of it would suck.

The green and black is a very good choice but i also like to use a white and red one. And I usually either do a slow or a fast retrieve.Or also I occasionaly do a reel and sink method were you just reel in a couple feet then stop and let it sink for a second ot too, and you can also twitch it a kittle too. A beetle spin is a great lure to use for bass and bluegill, and its weedless so don’t be afraid to throw near some brush.

Triggerwolf,The girl does an awful lot of smiling. There’s nothing wrong with smiling, but you have her doing it all in one paragraph. Saber tooth? That’s an awful lot of fang. How about ‘her wolf-like fangs’ instead? You also have ‘they stood on top of a rock?’ Who’s they? Well, I know now that it’s her father, but the reader will be confused for a moment with that. Introduce the father right away so we know who’s in the big picture to start out. Also, you spelled chief wrong. ie not ei. Prologue is spelled like that.”We come here every month to oversee….” There should be four periods just like I have there because he stopped talking voluntarily. Then you have the girl talking in the same paragraph with “Yeah, yeah… I know.” You can’t have two people talking in the same paragraph or sentence. Your dialogue has to be split from person to person. The story seems pretty strong though. Try to get those errors taken care of and you’ll see a big difference in your storyline.PJ M
