Where can I get live fishing bait in the northern Boston suburbs?
I live in Malden and I am looking to get Fishing Bait some earthworms for fishing (freshwater). Does anybody know where I could get some? I haven't been able to find anything. Malden would be the best, but Medford, Melrose, Saugus, Everett, etc. all work too. Thanks!

Northern Pikie: I like Daredevle spoons. Or Inline spinners.Never fished for trout….. Bluegill: Ive never caught them on anything but night crawlers/grubs.Bass: Spinnerbaits, Inline Spinners, Rapala lure. Try using topwater Rapala lure when the bass are really active,. it can be a very exciting experience.And Live bait im sure will work for all as well.Good Luck!

Hi Racer, If you pull off a piece of bread about the size of your thumb nail and fold this around the hook and squeeze only around the hook,this leaves a flaky portion for the fish to go for and will attract them and it will also stay on your hook for some time. If float fishing this way I would check the bait often to make sure it is still on. If floating crust for Carp then use the crust by hooking the crust through the hook a couple of times and use a un – cut loaf with a piece of crust 30mm across as to disguise the hook as floating crust for carp on the surface is great fun as you can watch the carp come for the crust and take off. Great thrill.

Catfish – Fish on the bottom with baits like : worms, minnows, liver, stink baits, or dough baits.Carp – Also fish on the bottom with baits like : worms, corn, bread, and dough bait.Walleye – Fish for these eye’s with : worms, or minnows.Muskie – Live suckers are the best bait for HUGE muskies.May i recommend that you use at least a MH action rod for these fish, and a baitcasting reel filled with 25 lb. Power Pro or Berkley Big Game.Happy fishing.
