    Not sure that your question is quite right. A carbon anion could be one of several things. Try drawing a dot structure of C(-). you get three unpaired electrons and one lone pair, like nitrogen right?So you could attach three hydrogen atoms (for example) and get a carbon analogue of ammonia. In this instance, the carbon anion has formed three bonds rather than the usual four. Carbanions are extremely reactive/unstable. They don’t last long, and usually occur only as reaction intermediates. Although they have been isolated, and they definitely can exist. I really am not sure what your question is asking. If my answer is not sufficient, please give more information. If you’re having trouble describing the problem, can you give an example?
