In case you need some more details, here is a full description and review of Kistler Magnesium:

In this review of Kistler Magnesium, I am going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what is a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Kistler Magnesium is my favorite choice. Sure, there are other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Kistler Magnesium is the clear winner.

Yeah buddy I reckon! Money well spent.I have a Kistler Helium LTA He76HC flipping stick with a TDX-103 HSDF that I love to bass fish with.I’ve had my eye out for one of their chatterbait rods for a while now. I really like the split-grip on yours.

They were a little over-hyped but I’ve heard about increased casting distance and you don’t have to worry about hooks from other rods catching onto your rod guides. Duckett’s are good but the Kistler’s are probably better.

$200 for a quality rod is not that much these days in fact if you averaged the cost of the higher priced rods out from most top manufacturers you will see that average to be closer to $229-249. Obviously custom rods built on Loomis or Croix blanks costs significantly more. Since you tourney fish you will enjoy the light weight of a Kistler after fishing all day.
