Restaurant Supplies Wholesale in Downtown Seattle?
We regularly buy items like disposable fork, spoon, foam cups, butcher paper, paper plates, folded paper towels for our community Spoon Bulk center and somebody told us that we can buy cheaper if we buy in bulk from a restaurant supplies wholesaler in downtown Seattle. This wholesaler is specific for restaurants and not general wholesaler like Costco, Cash and Carry or Sam's Club. Please help me in finding the downtown restaurant wholesaler (NOT Costco, Sam's Club, Cash and Carry).

I use powdered milk too, but I mix it with water in a jug and then use it as if it were fresh milk – it doesn’t clump that way.If it clumps, use slightly warm water instead of cold water, that might help. Not sure what you could do for cream though.

The entire American system has been around for centuries, I don’t know the origins or whatever. In the 70′s it was said by the 80′s we’d go metric, which had people like my Grandma, born in 1899, all up in arms because she didn’t know anything about it. Then they said later, and we still haven’t changed (Frankly I’m glad. I can use a conversion chart but don’t know those equations in my head)I argued with a German born person 35 years ago because she had been in America over 10 years and absolutely refused to use the American system. If you said it was 90 degrees, she would say it couldn’t be, nobody could take 90 degrees, that was nearly boiling. If you said something was so many miles away she’d argue that meant nothing, it had to be in kilometers to mean anything. And she didn’t want to hear, ‘well lets see, 2.5 km to a mile, so that’s…’ She’d say it had to be in kilometers, period. A lot of Americans use a pinch of this and a pinch of that so that probably wouldn’t change in metric.

Hey Scotty, I didn’t know you were a foodie. I’m gonna save those recipes. I don’t know about canned pumpkin though. Fresh pumpkin is easy to cut if you know how, it softens quickly in the microwave and then you can do what you want with it. With sweet potato, by all means prep them in the microwave. But then you need to fry them in duck fat and finish under the griller to get that real crispyness. Duck fat isn’t as bad as people think. It’s got no trans fats, and is insanely flavoursome.

It’s very difficult to bulk up by running. Granted, if you put the incline up high enough(>7%), you will do more work with your glutes and hamstrings than with low or no elevation. But the overall effect is to make these areas stronger, not so much bigger. Have you ever seen a top runner with a big lower physique? I assure you that all these runners do plenty of incline training.I wouldn’t recommend running on hills or incline exclusively, but a little variation might be helpful in keeping your motivation up and if you run regularly, you will see a positive change in the shape of your body.

I’m trying to wrap my mind around the whole “under own power” thing. the best I can think of would be to make some sort of wind-up. Connect each rubber band to the dowel, all in a row. Have the dowel connected to a waterwheel (think Mississippi river boat) that you make out of the cut apart curved pieces of the solo cup on the back end of the boat, and let the dowel stick out the front side of the boat, so that you can “wind” it up, set it in the water, and as the rubber bands unloose, the dowel will spin, and the waterwheel will turn, hopefully enough to propel it 20 feet. Who knows. I just made that up off the top of my head, and I don’t know what the rubber bands will be fixed to on their other side.
