If you are like me, you need a little bit on information before making a buying decision. Here’s a description of Rusty Craw for you.
Imagine for a moment you are looking all over online for Rusty Craw. Wait. are you? If so, then listen up. I was in your shoes once, so I’m going to save you the hassle of researching Rusty Craw any further. Take a look at the prices I’ve found for you and then you decide if you’re ready to buy Rusty Craw right now.
When repainting semi rusty iron gates, doors and window bars, do I have to first sand off all the old paint?
Or do i just sand off the rusty areas? I'm afraid if I just sand out Rusty Craw the rusty areas, the new paint might apply unevenly, but then again if I sand off all the paint, that might take forever. I will be using a rapid strip drill attachment to do the sanding. Thanks for your help. Also, there are dots of rust all over these things. Is it ok to leave the dots of rust alone, or would that create a problem later on?

You could get tetanus also known as lockjaw. Usually tetanus requires rust and dirt. If you’ve had a tetanus shot in the last seven years, I don’t think you need to worry about it. But if you haven’t, you run the risk of getting this.PS: I’m no doctor, this is to the best of my knowledge having discussed this with doctors in the past and getting a tetanus shot after stepping on a rusty nail.

First, what type of hitch do you have? There are the old style clevis type hitches – not much in use any more except on agricultural equipment, as shown at: http://www.redballproducts.com/images/product_images/580/Hitch.jpg There are the pintle type – mostly on military and big commercial vehicles, such as: http://shop.easternmarine.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.catalog&categoryID=219 Then there are the ball type hitches (both in bumper and goose-neck configurations). The ball part has 3 standard sizes; 1 7/8 inch, 2 inch, and 2 5/16 inch, and several strength categories for each size. http://www.bernardiparts.com/images/products/CRV_TrailerHitch_Ball_s.jpg . . and . .http://www.trailertek.com/acatalog/Couplings__Hitches_.htmlThe ball and the coupling hitch must be the same size to work properly. And there are several styles of ball hitch couplings, such as: http://parts.centrevilletrailer.com/images_parts/2168trailerpart.jpg So, if I had to quess blind – as I am doing, I would say that no, not just a little rust would make a hitch not work, HOWEVER, it could keep it from being attached correctly or completely. This might be the case if the person hooking it up wasn’t experienced – like some of the U-Haul guys I have seen (don’t they even show them anything?) And if it was the type that U-Haul uses (with the hand tightener nut on the top of the hitch, and wedge on the bottom) it is easy to not get the wedge under the ball, and from the top it looks like it’s on there, but it’s not. People who attach trailers NEED to know HOW the hitch works, and IF it is attached properly. Some don’t. ===================================================

Please, please, please do not do anything at all to your coins especially with a wire brush.Cleaning coins devalues them and collectors will not purchase cleaned coins. As coins get older they develop what is called a patina, this protects the coin and sometimes is very attractive.Coin collectors are constantly telling stories of people who have inherited a collection, then cleaned them thus destroying the collection.A coins value is determined by its condition as well as rarity, cleaning a coin does not restore a coin, like cleaning car tyres will not put back rubber and actually damages the condition that collectors are looking for.The copper coins with green stuff on them, separate those out, this is called verdigris and is commonly known as coin cancer, it is not worth trying to do anything about this unless it is a particularly rare coin.Buy some coin albums, place the coins into them, join some online forums about coins, cannot suggest which as I do not know the country or countries your coins are from but you will find out about your collection and how to look after it, including proper handling and storage. Failing that your local coin dealer can do a valuation for you, they may charge for this though.

CLR it’s a cleaning product in the laundry section and cleaning products aisle. Is it rust, or is it the orange mold? Bleach would get that out.

Cut the exhaust pipe too.

I recommend you sand the rusty areas thoroughly to rid them of any visible rust. This is necessary to ensure a clean, corrosion-free surface.Lightly sand the other areas so that they lose their “gloss”–this will help the new paint stick better and last longer. You don’t have to remove all of the “good” paint, just roughen it up.Wipe down the entire gate with a cloth and mineral spirits to remove all dust. (Don’t use water, it will just encourage any bare metal to start rusting!)Spray with a couple of coats of exterior, rust-proofing paint and you’ll be good to go.

I used to have the same problem. It turned by babies clothes all orange. I would get so angry! I found “Iron Out” or Rit Whitener they both work really well.

You will be fine with the tools that you have. One trick is to buy a pale and fill it with playbox sand, mix in some oil and put your tools into the sand. This will prevent rust and will not hurt your garden or compost. Good luck.

The weathered old window screeched and shuddered as I forced it open.

Maybe if you blow harder, it will keep the brown stuff from accumulating. Or, you could just try licking it off.If you’re still having trouble, just bring it over to my place and I will show you proper blowing technique. Oh, also, don’t forget to clean out the spit valve or it gets too wet.

If your water is this bad then your neighbors are likely to know about it. From your description it sounds like you have iron in your water but it suspiciously sounds like the pipe used to fill the pool may have been dedicated to the pool and may be the source of the rust or contamination. Possibly the pipe has a hole or crack in it and is allowing soil to come into your pool???The pool supply place may help. I would pump the water out and check for a water delivery service to deliver “pool water” to you.The question remains if the water is this bad what is your house water like? You’re welcome!!

Try to work WD-40 or 3 in 1 oil around it and let it penetrate overnight. You may be able to remove the screw with your screw driver. You might also be able to pry the gasket off the frame so you can get at the screw.

just get some rust remover from a d.i.y store or something, then remove the rust (with a cloth and the remover) and wax it
OR just wax it like crazy cus that works too ( it worked on my friends rail )

I clean the insides of mine all the time and it’s 5 years old and doesn’t have any rust. Maybe they need to clean up their act to.
