Can a Missouri High School not allow you on their property because of discipline action pending?
I withdrew from a Missouri Craw High School in Missouri with discipline action pending. Now they try to tell me I cannot go to any school events (football games, parades, etc.) because I withdrew with discipline action pending. Do they have legal grounds for this?

The United States in 1819. The Missouri Compromise prohibited slavery in the Unorganized territory of the Great Plains (dark green) and permitted it in Missouri (yellow) and the Arkansas Territory (lower blue area).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USA_Territorial_Growth_1820.jpg ———–The Missouri Compromise was an agreement passed in 1820 between the pro-slavery and anti-slavery factions in the United States Congress, involving primarily the regulation of slavery in the western territories. It prohibited slavery in the former Louisiana Territory north of the parallel 36°30′ north except within the boundaries of the proposed state of Missouri. Prior to the agreement, the House of Representatives had refused to accept this compromise and a conference committee was appointed. The United States Senate refused to concur in the amendment and the whole measure was lost.During the following session (1819-1820), the House passed a similar bill with an amendment, introduced on January 26, 1820 by John W. Taylor of New York, allowing Missouri into the union as a slave state. The question had been complicated by the admission in December of Alabama, a slave state, making the number of slave and free states equal. In addition, there was a bill in passage through the House (January 3, 1820) to admit Maine as a free state. The Senate decided to connect the two measures. It passed a bill for the admission of Maine with an amendment enabling the people of Missouri to form a state constitution. Before the bill was returned to the House, a second amendment was adopted on the motion of Jesse B. Thomas of Illinois, excluding slavery from the Missouri Territory north of the parallel 36°30′ north (the southern boundary of Missouri), except within the limits of the proposed state of Missouri.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missouri_Compromise

The issue of slavery was present from the very foundations of the United States, especially in the fact that the Declaration of Independence states that “all men are created equal” but the US Constitution (which is actualyl leagally binding) says that slaves are only work 3/5 a person. So while some people were for it and some against it, our nation just let it happen because nobody knew how to deal with the problem. The states that didn’t like it could at least ignor it. That is until things like the Missouri Compromise, the Comproise of 1850 and the Kansas-Nebraska Act start to bring it to everyone’s attention. The main problem was this “should new states be allowed to have slaves?” and also “should a northern state be required to enforce slavery rules from the south”.When northern states were required by law to return slaves and allow bounty hunters to come and grab slaves from their state and bring them home, then it was impossible to ignor the problem and they had to actually face it.So that being a long answer: They affected slavery because it made people actually pay attention instead of ignoring the problem which lead to the Civil War, etc.

The red LED’s should be OK as long as they are rear facing and don’t flash, blink, chase, or have any other “moving” function while on (other than if being used for a turn signal, of course). But best to ask a proper law enforcement official to be sure, ask a uniformed officer the next time you see one or call the police department and ask. The headlights are illegal if over the factory wattage, but if they are factory wattages for high and low beams, then they should also be OK. The wattage should be stamped on the base of the bulb (the plastic portion), especially if it is over the normal ratings. To find the normal ratings, find what kind of bulb you have (like a 9004) and do a search for it on the internet. Most factory bulbs are 60 watts for high beam, and 55 for low beams, though some are different. The headlights aren’t as likely to get you pulled over and ticketed unless they’re so bright that people regularly think you’re bright lighting them as they come at you.

Missouri Synod:– No women pastors– Bible is a perfect book with no errors in history, science, geology or biology.– World was made in six days, so no evolution. Genesis 1 is absolutely literal.– Only Missouri Synod Lutherans may receive Communion at a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church.– Homosexuality is always sinful.Evangelical Lutheran:– Women and men may both be pastors.– Bible is not a perfect book, but it is holy — when we read it, God the Holy Spirit leads us to trust in Christ as our Lord and Savior.– God used the evolutionary process to bring about biological life over billions of years. Genesis 1 is an inspired song-poem telling us about God and creation, not a science book account.– Any baptized Christian who believes Christ is in the Lord’s Supper may receive Communion in an ELCA church.– Many ELCA churches are gay-friendly.

It is close enought that they have to go through all the provisional ballots and determine which ones are valid. There might be an automatic recount involved, also, which by law takes a few weeks to certify.

Go to the SPCA! There are plenty of dogs who need homes. Besides, don’t buy a full breed, muts are the best dogs ever.
