Just some advice from an ol timer. Stay away from Strike King junk. That is all it is. Any tube will work just as well if not better than that tube. It is not the bait that catches the fish or gets the most strikes, it is the fisherman behind the rod making the lure seem real enough to eat. That is the whole key to fishing. Make the lure do things that live prey does. Knowing what a natural presentation is and not making the lure have an unnatural action or movement. Make a lure look like and act like a crawdad or minnow is the key.Slow is the right presentation in cold water. Slow way down and then go slower. barely crawl the bait.

“Pole Lox” is my favorite episode of The King of Queens. Doug is so funny in this episode. Carrie takes a pole dancing class, but she ends up being really bad at it, so Doug ends up showing her how to pole dance and he’s really good at it. lol!

I had a friend give me a couple packs of the Rage Tail Shads weeks ago. You DO break the tail section. You actually rig them texas style, but no weight, with the shad laying flat (sideways), and the tail up. The baits are topwaters, and are meant to be burned across the top like a buzzbait. The extra large tail really creates havoc on the water which can draw ferocious strikes.Make sure the shad is flat with the hook point on top like a topwater frog. This was also demonstrated on Strike Kings’ tv show “Pro Team Journal”. You may be able to catch it on Youtube!

I love King Lear. My absolute favourite Shakespeare play. It’s so human and some of the lines!! Also, the images that Shakespeare paints: especially the one where he’s leaning over Cordelia at the end and trying to determine whether or not she’s alive. And then the “Howl, howl, howl, howl”…sends shivers up my spine.Also, how can you not love a play where someone’s eyeballs get poked out on stage? It also explores that whole notion of wanting to give up power, but still wanting to keep it. And, of course, what is love? duty? family obligation?Why do you like it?

Yes. First off, I’m glad it ate for you, and yes, snakes do get lethargic after they eat, usually, to digest. With little snakes, make sure it’s tank is “snake-proofed”, they can be escape artists. I use screen tops, with a rock or weight on each corner with little snakes. Good Luck with your snake!!!

They can work, just like anything else. I get a lot of Strike King products for free through a buddy of mine, and I have tried the entire line of coffee baits. Yes, the tubes will catch fish, but I have found that they catch no more fish than my Yum, Chompers, or regular Strike King tubes. So to answer your question, I have seen no evidence of fish attacking the coffee tubes with more frequency than a regular tube. I do think the very natural and earthy colors that the coffee tubes come in are a big plus. I’m not saying it’s a gimmick, I just see no difference in my catch rate as compared to others. I do however, recommend the new Caffeine Shad if you like to fish flukes. The action on these baits is incredible, and I do think coffee works well as an attractant and “odor masker”.

ok im not too sure about cali king snakes but when my ball python wouldnt eat i put her and the prey in a small box and closed the lid opened it 30 min later and the food was gone. Give it a try it wont hurt
