I have been a bit slow on posting reviews of the last couple of Fishing Skirts, but it is time to catch up
Who has any good ideas for Charlies Angles costumes?
Me and my friends are going to a costume contest as Charlies Fishing Skirts Angles but we need some ideas of what to where. The costumes cant be that risque because their are going to be some little kids their. We all have black mini skirts and fish nets but we want some thing more creative .

no way in hell i would put 40-60 fish in a 20gal. aquarium. i’d put maybe 15 or less. i have a 10gal freshwater with 6 fish in it and a 30gal saltwater with 5 fish.call your local fish store, they can tell you exactly how many

It wouldn’t be a school. A school is about a thousand or more. You would have a shoaling effect, almost like schooling. They wouldn’t shoal together though. The way they shoal, is by recognized what their colors and marks are. That’s who they shoal with. I’ve got 6 golden white clouds in a 10 gallon and it’s really neat to watch them swim together all over the tank. It makes the fish feel more comfortable, but I would just get a couple more white skirts if you want that shoaling effect. You could get a couple colorful bottom feeders, I’ve got 3 corys within the tank of golden white clouds.

Any small to medium fish should be fine as long at it is compatible with the black skirt. I wouldn’t recommend neons as black skirts can get large enough to eat them and neon’s bright colors seem to entice fish that don’t bother anything else. I keep serpae and red eye tetras with my black skirts. Also tetras usually do best in schools of 6 or more so I would recommend getting 4 more black skirts and maybe a school of another type of tetra or some other type of compatible fish.

Fish net? That would be see-through… Well, i’ve never seen them sold. Make it and say you bought it, then quickly change the subject. Plus why do they care whether you made it or bought it. It’s your outfit.

Snapper & Grouper like ANY live or cut bait. (Anchovies, Sardines, Squid, Herring, Medhadden, ect)Most jigging is done with silver spoons, or with skirted lures. The skirts add a life-like effect to the jigs.

During the summer months all the largest male blue gills will be on the beds. Find the beds “they look like inverted saucers” and you have found the big gills in large numbers. Usually the beds will be shallow near the shore so they are easy to find.

You can tell if your fish is pregnant if, one morning you wake up and there is a bunch of little fish swimming around the tank. This usually means your fish was pregnant.

Although lately my pair of angelfish have been fighting, which I don’t like at all. Anyway, they show a red rainbow shark, they are common. I had one years ago, and it didn’t seem aggressive at all, but I always like to do a little side research to be sure! Snails are kind of neat also, and they can help keep the tank clean.

any other kind of community fish. other kinds of tetra’s are perfect. swordtails, 1 male betta, cory’s, pleco’s, barbs and the list goes on.
