In case you need some more details, here is a full description and review of Jig Hooks:
In this review of Jig Hooks, I am going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what is a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Jig Hooks is my favorite choice. Sure, there are other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Jig Hooks is the clear winner.

yes here is what works in So Cal waters.break off the little beads just lightly squeeze them with a needle nose they’ll crack and fall away (put them in the trash so they aren’t ingested though) take the feathers (that make the individual hooks look like a fly or moth or something) and at the same angle they are cut, cut them shorter so the longest tail feather is no longer than the extended hooks. Here is trick# 239 take an indelible ink marker and color the top of the feather dark ( I do blue and then very finely black over the top) it makes the jigs look like little fishAnd here is trick #240 I always make up a gallon (or two) of a mixture of oatmeal, old shredded bread and water I shake in 20% oatmeal 80% water. I pour less than a half a cup out at a time and drop the sabiki right through the middle of the drifting sludge. Trick # 241 I let the tip of the rod drop an inch, jiggle it lightly drop two and jiggle it and if a fish gets on I let it drag it around though the falling sledge I poured out.

You can use jigs pretty much anywhere. Remember, it is how you jig that matters most.

Take the time to tie your knot, it doesn’t take that long. Swivel/snaps are highly visable, and they effect the action of the lure. I’ve also seen them break, and bend.

BooYah! jigs are meant to target smallmouth and largemouth bass. Add a plastic crawfish to the yellow/brown as a trailer, and you’ll be set.The blue/black jig would be better in darker water or at night maybe, and the yellow/brown jig would be better in murky or muddy water.
