you just have to get it of your heel at the right time like when your foot is more curved to you rather than straight up and your body has to be kind of leaning forward

Head down is a bad thing to be focusing on. Your head needs to follow the body through the shot, so that it swivels to the target as you come past impact. Practice following the ball with your eyes and you will soon be coming through better. Sounds like you can’t fully release because keeping your head down has got your body stopping at impact

no, just put some ice on it and lie down for a while. take a nap, and when you wake up, it should feel better. by tomorrow morning, it should be all good

Practice dribbling with your eyes closed. Just get used to handling the ball at your feet and knowing where it is by reaching out and touching it. If you walk, then jog, with your eyes closed and the ball at your feet, it will be become natural and instinctual to know exactly where it is at all times.

I think that as long as the ball is not above your head it would be legal. I could be wrong, but I think that is the highest you can go in the NBA. So if the guy is smaller then you it is fine.

Ball heads are mostly useful when shooting in the field and the land is not level, so leveling the camera using a ball head can be easier.I have them hard to “lock down” ball head tripod heads, so I stick with my pan/tilt head which I have used form many years with both my 4×5 view camera, 35mm and DSLR cameras

A pistol grip generally IS a ball head, with a quick release pistol grip.. I use two bogen pistol grip heads and they support everything exept my 4×5 calumet, but that has rails. Pretty sturdy, but after awhile they will begin to slip if you use anything beyond medium format.. hope this helps.

Your form should be high, in front of your head, not behind it.

You can buy BJDs many places but most are English websites of companies in Asia. When you buy from Asia the shipping is more expensive (can be $45+) and it can take weeks and weeks to get your BJD.If you are in the US and can find one you like at a US reseller (they usually can also order other models of the companies they carry) then the shipping will less expensive.Note – buy a whole BJD (head a body together). Mixing one company’s head and another’s body is for experts. Necks vary in size and resin colors between companies vary quite a bit.I have bought BJDs from both of these US resellers and I know they usually only show what is in stock:http://www.junkyspot.com/http://www.denverdoll.com/I have not bought from this one:http://www.mintoncard.com/Nor this Canadian one:http://www.featherfall.ca/If you want to buy from Asia, then on the right here is a list of links to more info for most of the BJD makers. Not all sell to the US and a couple only make heads.http://www.gigglegeek.dk/bjd.htmNotes: The following are not resin and not BJDs: 21-27cm Volk plastic dollfies, 21cm-large Obitsu. the following are BJDs but some are not resin and none of them are allowed (not even in resin) on the biggest BJD forum Den of Angels: Delilah Noir, Creedy, Goodreau. Also any BJD sold as a fashion BJD is not allowed, nor are BJDs that don’t have the Asian BJD look (usually non-Asian BJDs)

BALLHEAD looks like this…http://www.flickr.com/photos/inthetrenches/1236883289/For this particular model you unlock it using the lever on the right. This loosens the hold that the socket has on the ball so you can then move the platform in any number of directions. The knob on the right allows you to adjust the amount of friction so you can better control the amount of movement when it’s unlocked.PANHEAD looks like this…http://www.bogenimaging.us/webdav/site/main/shared/products/808RC4/D0010_7b90f2b1ec27cae7a181d7477de2ddf5_L.jpgIt allows you to easily ‘pan’ from left to right/right to left. This model has 3 knobs. The left one allows you to lock or tilt it on one axis (up/down). The middle one on the bottom of the head allows you to pan it left/right and the right one allows you to tilt it on a 3rd axis lower left/raise right side and vice versa. What are the advantages of either? The Ball head is significantly easier to make quick adjustments because you only need to unlock it but because of this, it’s also alot harder to make minute adjustments with a ball head. The Panhead allows you to make adjustments to just one axis without affecting the other 2 axis. The disadvantage of this type of head is it’s not as quick and easy to use as a ball head. There are some that say that panheads are primarily for videography. While they certainly can benefit a videographer because you can allow it to only move in one axis (left /right, or up/down, etc.) those same qualities may be also beneficial to a photographer. It really depends on what you’re shooting and the conditions you’re shooting under. HTH

you want to practice heading outside of an actual game setting, this will allow you to gain confidence. Heading is a little uncomfortable, but if done properly it shouldn’t be too painful, and the more you do it the more used to the feeling u get. have a friend toss the ball to you lightly in the air as u head it back. as you gain confidence u can start jumping while doing so…but simple exercises like this will help. you want to make sure to hit with your forehead and not the top of your head. as the ball comes in contact with ur head push it forward/whip ur head in direction you want the ball to go.dont be scared to really go for it, the more timid you are the more it will hurt…and no matter what just keep practicing, if you dont get it at first ask someone for help in person. and remember, as cliche as it sounds, have fun…heading the ball well is a fun way to impress people

Not now. I don’t think it’s quite safe yet for your son. Two year olds are pretty delicate, he might injure his head or neck if the ball doesn’t land right. Give him a little more time to have some real kiddy fun first. Four or five ought to be quite all right.

once the keeper is holding it you can not touch the ball at all.

When I played little league, I think my coach had us bite down on the top of our shirts to keep our heads down. It sounds a little weird, but I’m pretty sure thats what it was for, and it worked.
