this is on a baitcaster, l take it??10 should be fine. 12 if you feel insecure with 10.if on a spinning rod, 8 would be plenty. 10 if you absolutely, absolutely need it.you should really look in to “sufix” new 832 braid in 10lb test. handles GREAT on a spinning outfit.green.mark it with a black marker intermittently, for a camo effect.

I am sure you have tried cabelas and bass proshops. I use cabelas for lead heads, swivels, hooks and smelly jelly. I get the leadheads already painted in chartreuse and orange to match the hot belly dorado pattern swim baits from AA (double A) Worms. and usually buy red and then paint over the red the colors that match all my other swim baits leaving the back of the ball red (to look like flared gills).
