Sounds like you need more info than I could type. (lol)Your best bet is to go to http://www.floridasportsman.com and read some posts and info there. Florida Sportsman magazine is the “In-fisherman” of Florida. Here is a link to a great book written by famous Floridian writer Vic Dunaway. It has a ton of basic info on how to rig and angle for the myriad fish Florida has to offer- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0936240148/idahofishnhuntA/For general Offshore??- http://www.amazon.com/Fish-Florida-Saltwater-Luck-Foolproof/dp/088415002X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239679703&sr=1-1Asking how to catch Mahi or Sails is like asking how to catch Musky, Bass and Walleye in the Great Lakes. Each species (Walleye, Bass and Musky) will have a perfect technique for that particular lake, species, time of year, Etc. You would be wise to go to http://www.floridasportsman.com and ask on The Forum about trading a trip with any knowledgeable anglers. Tell them your problem and see if anyone might want to schedule a trip offshore together. That would be the quickest way for you to learn how to PRODUCTIVELY fish Offshore. You would be surprised how many great offshore anglers will divulge all their info if simply asked….. At the very least check out the “How To” section. Hope this helps? Good luck.

Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Fifty-Five-Hundred. Load it with twelve pound mono. Put it on a medium-heavy Ugly Stik Lite.

I think you would really enjoy Halibut, mahi mahi and red snapper. Very mild flavored fish that will go great with almost any seasoning and preparation.

I have done selective harvest on bass. Bass is good, but you need to remove the skin before cooking it.The guys on TV you mentioned, no matter what they fish for, the release the fish. They are not fishing to keep it, they are showing the TV viewer how to catch that particular fish.Ones who fish primarily for sport do not keep, although selective harvest is good for the body of water you are fishing.

I’m going to take a guess and say that you’re looking into Orijen 6 Fish? Either that or you’re just coincidentally asking about the same 6 fish included in that formula…Fish, including the fish you listed, have the same benefits as most other meats – it’s quality, highly digestible protein. I wouldn’t say that fish as a main protein source is somehow “better” than other quality protein sources, it’s just an alternative choice from the standard chicken and lamb based foods. And just in my personal experience, my dogs, for whatever reason, have always done best on fish-based foods. On a personal note, I’ve been feeding Orijen 6 Fish for 2 years or so and couldn’t possibly be happier with it, and neither could my dogs (they are wild about the taste, even the picky one!). I’ve tried well over a dozen foods, and this one is #1 in my book, based on the quality of the ingredients, and especially based on how extremely well my dogs do on it.

Because EVERY person has their own opinions on dog food & which brand is best, and this brand is best, and this one is crap, and they are all bad, only feed raw!! etc. etc. etc. You have to do your OWN research, and use your OWN common sense & buy & feed YOUR dog what YOU think is the BEST!!! Take Care & Good Luck…

Foods with these type of ingredients are often recommended for dogs with food allergies or sensitivities, so they would be a good choice for a dog with a sensitive tummy.True dog food allergies usually cause skin reactions such as itching or hot spots. Sensitivities to certain ingredients are more likely to cause diarrhea or vomiting. If your dog has problems with the more common ingredients, the above food would be a good one to try. Good luck.

Fresh King Salmon from Alaska is the best, & I would recommend first, bbqing it over a nice hot coal fired BBQ, with skin on, & scales off…you can bbq this fish for a good 15-30 mins on high heat & get a great tasting mouth watering steak, filleted…this is the best way to eat, however you asking for a baking question, so then the best would be line a baking pan with tin foil & spray with Pam, & then lay your steaks or fillets on the foil, sprinkle with seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic, lemon pepper, etc. & then add a generous layer of onion on top, & cover the pan with tin foil, & cook at 350 degs, for 30 mins & look for white juices to flow from the interstial muscle fibers of the flesh, should be good & done, juicy & tasty!!!MMMM am getting hungry just thinking of this…

Yes you need to go fishing, i would definatly go, but you need to get a jigging spoon, just drop it off the edge of the boat, and real it up about 1 foot from the bottom, keep pulling the rod up and down, the walleye love it because in the winter they tend to eat more, and it gets there attention, but if you catch one you need to keep it on a stringer or in the live well because if you let it go before you get done fishing that spot, i almost guarentee you you will not catch another fish in that spot

You probably have a sensitivity to fish. Not as severe as an allergy but something to watch. You might want to be tested. Next time you see your doctor ask for a referral for allergy testing, but only if it is something that should be done during a pregnancy. If not then you should probably avoid fish for the duration of the pregnancy. Get tested afterward. It may just be oily fish. You could try something like tuna or cod. But I would avoid it if I were you just to be safe. Here’s to a happy healthy baby.

Check out Lake Gogebic. Best walleye fishing in Michigan. Heading up there New Year day for some ice fishing. Been up there a dozen times but I camp, so I don’t have a resort in mind that I can tell you about, although there’s a lot of nice ones on the lake. Just google Lake Gogebic resorts. I have a big Clam sleeper ice tent, we stay in that for 4 days and 3 nights right on the lake.We take 100lbs of lp for our heater, cots, sleeping bags, fishing gear, a small generator to charge our cell phones, and about 6 cases of beer. Can’t wait for January 1st!!

I live in Asheville and one of my favorite lakes is Lake James near Hickory. It has a great smallie population and largemouth too. Lake Fontana has walleye, smallmouth and largemouth and is more west in the mountains. Lake Wylie near Charlotte is a great largemouth lake. I have fished the New River when I was a kid.As far as rivers go we have the French Broad (smallmouth, brown trout) and Swannanoa(trout). My favorite lake here is a thermal lake south of Asheville that is electric motor only, Lake Julian. The power plant keeps water warm so fish spawn early and no smallmouth but the bass get to feed on the rare talapia population in the lake. The fish are always health and no trash on banks or in water. Local resturants serve the talapia from the lake. Good luck I dont know much east past Winston Salem.

I would say it depends on the dog’s breed and lifestyle. Is the dog eating Orijen running in the iditarod? 40% protein, really? There’s no need for this much protein unless the dog is literally a workhorse. Happy tail looks normal
