Which bait scent spray should I buy?
I will be fishing a state tournament on Old Hickory Lake in Nashville Tennessee next weekend. I would not consider myself a pro that knows it all, but I am an avid angler that knows what to do when Tennessee Shad the situation comes, but as far as scents, I'm lost. I was wanting to give some a try, and see if it improves the number of bites I get. (remember, I'm looking for 5 a day). But anyways, I've heard that Jack's Juice works pretty well, and I want some of it. But there is three different kinds. Salty Shad, Garlic Oil, and Crawfish. Which would be best for all purpose techniques such as flipping, finesse fishing with worms, and maybe spraying some on my crankbait.

is it at all possible that the water may have gotten too warm for them and they may have moved a bit deeper?

The only time that I use scents is when the water is muddy honestly. I’m just not convinced that scents have a noticeable affect on fish. A lot of baits already have scents, especially plastics. When I do buy scents, I very rarely even look at the brand. The scent is the important thing. If it were me, I would use the scent according to the bait I was using. For example, if you’re flipping a jig, I would go with a Crawfish scent for the simple fact that a jig imitates a Crawfish. For the crankbait, maybe try the Salty Shad, and so on.
