The original floater falls under the crank bait category. The original floater is a lure made by rapala in a minnow shape with a small bill on it. It floats on the surface until you start to reel it in, then it dives down maybe 1ft or more. If you stop reeling it floats back to the surface. It does look like a jerk bait, but it doesn’t have the traits of a jerkbait. It doesn’t suspend and it doesn’t have a wobble like a jerk bait. It just has a tight little wiggle to it. So in my opinion it is a crank bait, and i quite effective one at that. Good luck, Hope this brings some closure to your question.

Practise many varied retrieves with the rapala lures it is was it is a minnow and minnows dont always swim. They dart, flutter and hover so many things!A good way I fish with the floater is to add a smal split shot in front of it about a 12 to 24 inches(just enough weight that it will have a neutral effect to it)!I use this method when I want the lure to just bang the tops of weeds but not dive into them.Color patterns- blue top /white belly, black top/white belly, black top/gold belly sometimes any one will work good!

Floaters can be all shapes and sizes.I would not worry about it unless you see flashes of bright lights. If you do, see a doctor immediately

Match the hatch as I always say. It should work but it’s gonna get torn up awfully bad. These lures were designed for less toothy fish.~good luck catchin’

trust me, nobody but a fool believed hillary’s insincere apology.she didn’t denounce nor reject geraldine ferraro’s comments.geraldine herself said that she resigned. hillary didn’t ask her to.so in effect, hillary was okay with everything geraldine said. and like you said, hillary has a pattern of breaking something and then acting like she’s trying to “fix” something.it was all just another stunt by her and her camp. but she didn’t expect to get so much backlash from geraldine’s stupid, idiotic comments.

If you are an entry level person and you have been given extra responsibility, stick it out as you will be able to add these extra duties on your resume. If after a reasonable amount of time doing the extra duties, express your interest in the more senior position that you have been doing. If the company doesn’t recognize your efforts, quietly seek employment with the new skills that you have gained. It isn’t fun to feel exploited but this may be valuable to you later on.

Please check the temperature before you go~ over 80 degrees, throw further out into the center. Cooler temps, flip it to the left or right of the bank, following the flow of the water~ Drizzle or a good rain, it’s gonna be a hit and miss: Just be sure to use slow, jerking motions on the retrieval, then change up to slow, smooth regular retrivals~ Happy fishin’ !

Gosh, I’m no doctor, but I used to work for an ophthalmologist and I know I’ve heard comments that floaters are normal. The flashes and streaks could be a sign of detached retina but I don’t know. If the opth. didn’t satisfy your questions try another. Good luck and make that call soon.
