Overall, the Husky Jerk was great, and I have no problem recommending Husky Jerk for anyone wanting one. LOVE THIS Husky Jerk
Part of my story. Is it good? Repost :)?
All you need to know is Eric is an abusive foster father/ cheif of police. Alli's the main character, Dani is the best friend who she helps. Jake is a loving "brother" Jason is a jerk foster brother. Andrea is her sister from birth and a total *****....Only a few minutes passed after I climbed under my cool sheets and I was already drifting off. At least until my door slammed open. My body shot upright and I saw Eric standing in the doorway. I could see the light shades of purple under his bloodshot eyes. Either he was extremely tired, or completely wasted. Most likely, both."You're going to be starting school soon." He stated firmly. I felt a quick rush of excitement flow through my body, but my skepticism soon turned it into curiosity and suspicion. He was so against the idea of High School, since there were other people there I could tell. The risk of any one of us ratting him out was apparently too high. What he didn't believe was that we all knew better. "What made you change your mind?" I asked curiously."You're social workers damn curiosity."His tone of voice was obviously displeased but luckily he looked too tired to take his anger out on me. "That ***** called asking if you were all settled into your new school. I told her you were starting next week."I looked at him without saying a word and he stepped closer, grabbing my arms tightly. "I swear, If you tell anyone anything..." He snarled. "I know." I interrupted. "I'll pay the consequences."He stared at me a second more before his cold hands released their tight grip. As soon as he was gone I breathed a sigh of relief. The excitement I felt earlier came back. I've only missed my the first semester of junior year, but it was enough to make me miss the experience. Of course, there was still the fear of people seeing through the mask I'd have to wear daily. But knowing that I wasn't going be alone, was comforting. The next morning I awoke with a start. Dani was leaning over me, her face was about an inch away from mine. "What are you doing?" I mumbled groggily."Eric just left for work, plus he told me the good news about going back to school! Didn't he tell you?" I nodded and she shook my shoulders. "Aren't you excited?! We'll actually get to be like normal teenagers again!"She grabbed my hand and pulled me out of bed. I was too tired to protest, so I tumbled onto the floor. My head hitting the dusty wooden floorboards."Ow. way to be gentle." I growled while rubbing the back of my head. "I could have gotten myself up.""Yeah, well it's too late for that."Glaring at her I held out my hand Husky Jerk and she rolled her eyes. She grabbed my wrist and yanked me back onto my feet. Her eyes were suddenly serious."Thank you for helping me last night. How hard was he on you? Did he hurt you?"She looked guilty and I knew if I told her what he did she'd feel bad. It already looked like her eyes were watering."Don't worry. It wasn't bad, really." She didn't seem convinced so I decided to change the subject. "I'm hungry. Did you eat?"She shook her head."I'm not hungry.""You need to eat something. Come on." I grabbed her arm and we walked down to the kitchen together. Jake was already digging through the fridge and Jason was sitting at the table. He paid no attention to us instead his eyes were scanning a newspaper. Suddenly Jake's husky morning voice broke the silence." I'm making some eggs and bacon. You want some?" He looked at Dani and I over his shoulder before pulling the egg carton out of the fridge. "Yeah, thanks.""No problem."Dani and I took a seat at the large kitchen table. I ran my fingers over the glossy marble. The kitchen once again became silent. The only sound was the cold bacon sizzling against the hot frying pan. It was mornings like this that weren't so bad. Sometimes Eric had to leave early for work. It gave us more time to clean things up so we weren't in a rush. Everyone just sat around the table and relaxed. My eyes grazed over the faces of my somewhat family. We've been together for three months and I realized I had no idea who these people were. Not even Dani. It made me wonder where they came from, how they got here. Andrea was the only one I knew. Andrea lived the same life as me. A stay at home mother and a businessman father. My memory of them faded after a while except for one night in particular that stayed fresh in my mind. Andrea and I were both thirteen years old. We were coming home from our friends house when we had pulled over to let a speeding fire truck pass. The sirens rang through the night. At first I thought nothing of it, until thethey pulled down my street. Flames surrounded my house. I raced up the driveway but was restrained. Even from the street my skin was burning from the heat and then I wondered where my parents were. After scanning the crowd of people I was told they never got out. Before the firemen had a chance to save them, the roof collapsed and hope was lost. Tears filled my dry eyes. All I had left was Andrea. We were always by each other's side. Until we got separated for two long years. I had my new family and she had hers. I didn't know what happened to her during that time but I didn't care. It was nice not having her bring me down every day. She always told me it was my fault they died. Until one day my adoptive parents disappeared. I woke up and found the house empty. Most of their belongings were there, but they weren't. Once they left they never came back. After a few days I ran to find them. I was too confused and afraid to call the police. Eventually Eric found me on the streets andbrought me into his oh so loving home. "Aren't you going to eat?" Jake asked, interrupting my thoughts. "Huh?" I looked down to see a plate of food in front of me. "Oh. Thanks Jake."He nodded from across the table and I grabbed a warm strip of bacon. The hot grease burned my tongue but I didn't care. "Sooo..." Dani sang cheerfully. "Are you looking forward to Junior year Jake."He rolled his eyes."Thrilled.""Oh come on. It's better than being here. How long has it been since we've actually felt the sun on our skin?"He chuckled. "Okay. You've made your point.""I usually do."She smiled victoriously and carried her empty plate to the sink. I looked at mine which was only half finished."You eat way too fast." I pointed out. She walked back over and smirked."You're just extremely slow. I take bites, you just nibble."I shook my head and continued eating. Once I was done I placed my plate on top of Dani's. Then Andrea came down the staircase andentered the kitchen. An icy chill filled the room. "So, you two are going to be riding with me to school from now on, right?"Dani and I exchanged looks."Yeah. So are Jake and Jason.""Eh...Wrong.""Excuse me?" I asked her annoyed. "Sorry Hun, I have friends that need rides. I don't have room for antisocial stowaways." She shrugged her shoulders and skipped off with a smile on her face. "I say we tie her up and throw her in the pool." Dani's serious tone matched her expression. "Yeah and then we get slaughtered as a punishment.""True. We'll also get slaughtered if we don't start cleaning."She and I got to work on the kitchen. She swept and mopped the grey tiled floors while I did the dishes and wiped off the Counters. Usually it took us at least three hours to clean everything. The mansion was huge and quite beautiful. The kitchen was personally my favorite room. Grey marble speckled with black made up the countertops and in the middle was the large oak island. Connected to the kitchen was the living room. It was mainly white with hints of tan black and grey. There was also a beautiful white marble staircase that matched the one in the kitchen. It was wide and slightly curved. When I was little it was my dream to live in a house like this. Now, it was just a constant reminder of the life I live.

If I were you I would use a basic Silver/Black Back, (my 1st choice in clear water). If the water is stained “green” try a Chartruese/Silver or Firetiger. If the water is stained brown/dirty try Gold/Black Back. Certain times of the year “Trout” colors work well. I always had luck with inline spinners, (when casting). For trolling, original floating Rapala on a downrigger. Husky-jerks can be used when they want a more subtle suspending lure.Spoons can be used with good luck too.

- Simple keep the Hushy away from ALL other dogs until you resolve the problem. No ANYTHING where dogs are off leash. Dog is under your control at ALL times. If you are unwilling to do this, are you willing to be responsible for any damage that this dog may cause?- Find a professional to help you figure out where the problem is coming from. Despite what the “experts” here have to say, you need to know about this dog’s history and SEE what is going on. These types of things come from a variety of issues. For that reason, there are a variety of methods that you have to use to resolve them. For all of the “experts” who want to jump in on this question. One question for you. Have you ever dealt with this type of dog face to face EVER? Not watching someone on TV. YOU dealing with it? Have you ever had a dog decide to come at YOU, or another dog, and it is very apparent that some MAJOR damage is going to be done? This type of thing is dangerous to all involved.Great advice from bassetnut.Prey drive in Huskies? Anyone have sources for that? Not unique to Huskies that I’m aware of. Perhaps some of the Husky people will jump in.

Skitter Pops are good but you never know how the fish will want you to retrieve it, so I can’t really tell you how. Top water bites can be tricky, some days I’ll catch fish like crazy on poppers, and other days they wont touch them. I haven’t done enough research on top water fishing yet to give you any solid advice on when to fish w/ a top water lure. The shad rap is one of my favorites (especially the jointed version) and it’s one of the easiest to fish; just cast it out and reel it back in, snap your rod tip every now and then, same for the J9. Senkos, and pretty much any stick worm are good baits. I like to fish them wacky style. Just hook the worm through the middle cast it out and let it sink to the bottom, then jig it up if nothing hits it and let it fall again. Most “long” worms I like to texas rig, weight varying with water depth. One lure that you really can’t beat is a 3″ white grub on a 1/4oz jig head. I’ve caught more fish on 3″ white grubs than any expensive crankbait or swimbait.Just fish around visible cover until you get more knowledgeable and skilled. Grass beds, lilly pads, brush piles in the water, rocky shore lines…

I have the same rod, a 7ft medium-heavy with a Quantum Accurist baitcaster. I never had a problem throwing 3/8 spinnerbait, the medium action maybe a little wimpy. I also have the same exact rod like yours with an Accurist, I have no problem tossing out a weightless fluke. You just need go down on your line size and have your reels properly set. I use 8lb flouros and it works great.

You should definately talk to them about this. I was exactly the opposite when I was a kid, I had a hard time convincing my parents to get any animals! As for if you DO decide to get a dog or puppy, a puppy would be ALOT more effort, but sometimes rescue isn’t the best option, especially from a pound. Those people don’t know a lab from a pit. You might be thinking you are getting a sweet, docile little pup, when in reality the minute you get it home it starts ripping everything in its path to shreds. I’ve seen this happen time and time again. KNOW THE BREED YOU ARE GETTING, I cannot stress this enough! If its a hybrid, or a mutt know what breeds are in its background. Preferably get it evaluated by A BREEDER, not a vet and not a pound worker. Usually they don’t know squat about all the breeds. If you do end up getting a rescue dog, it is best to get it “by ear” from a responsible breeder referring the rescue to you. Smaller breeds are great- and pugs are good if you don’t have the time to walk them for 3 hours a day.. like sighthounds. They do shed ALOT. When I worked in a salon we had two pugs that came in every 2-3 weeks and the whole places was FILLED with pug hair. In the air, a dusting on the floor, EVERYWHERE! Boston terriers are a good alternative to that, since they don’t shed and they are very similar.

I say go for it! Sounds super weird and I’d think you’re a little crazy if I got one as a random gift, but I’d also probably keep it around and would vent at it. At the worst, he tosses it, at the best, he likes it. Sounds like a good shot, just don’t present it as anything other than a gift. IMO not the shark.

Fishing is like that. There are days and weeks when the fish are feeding and days and weeks when they aren’t. Sometimes it’s because the air pressure isn’t right, sometimes it’s the heat, Sometimes it could even be the phases of the moon. And sometimes there isn’t an explanation at all. Just hang in there my friend. Keep doing the right things and one day they’ll start biting again. And remember – a bad day’s fishing beats a good day’s work.
