What are the rules when using a prop gun in outdoor photography?
I want to do an Film Noir style photo shoot with a female model as the mysterious dark Prop Darter woman. Like a scene for an old Mickey Spillane novel.I want to use a prop gun in the photos. But obviously I can't brandish a realistic-looking fake weapon in public. I've seen other photographers do it in their shoots. What are the laws and etiquette to do this without getting arrested in Los Angeles.

YES on prop 8The opposing side states that prop 8 interfers with their rights, but what about the rights of priest, parents, relgion? Did you know that if prop 8 does not pass, and a same sex couple ask a priest to marry them, and he denies them they can sue him for discrimination! By voting no your taking away his/her rights away, his beliefs away. how does that seem so fair? And true, no where does it state that marriage is to be taught in school, but if this law doesnt pass there will come a time with same sex couples will agrue about how unfair it is that books only have a man and wife. Marriage is a religious practice, why try to take that away from religion? What is wrong with domestic partnership? it has the same exact rights that marriage comes with. SAME RIGHTS! NOTHING DIFFERS! the ONLY thing that makes them different is that marriage is based on religion. Voting no is taking away rights, your not taking rights away from same sex couples because they can have domestic partnerships. your taking aways rights from priest/preachers/pastor/minister/ect.

Fundamentally Jack is correct – there is no discrimination. Every man has the right to marry any willing woman and vice versa. No man has the right to marry another man. Problem is that homosexuals want the term “marriage” to be changes. It’s not a civil rights issue, it’s a perception issue, and most people do not want the perception of marriage to be changed to include men-men and women-women.Frankly I could care less. Morally I could care less. But LEGALLY, there is no discrimination, no violation of rights, and frankly, had Proposition 22 be upheld it probably would have been overturned because it was simply a law. Now that 8 passed, it will be extremely difficult indeed to change the constitution.

I would search ask or google for theater props. Or you could try making in with chicken wire and paper mache.

A prop protractor but they are very expensive and not easy to use. Also you usually have to have an adapter to use it for a specific propeller.

Note in California the tax per ounce is $50 alone.I exspect the other states to follow California’s smart decision to Tax Regulate and Legalize Marijuana. I am a registered California voter and I wiljl be voting Yes on Prop 19!And if you know anything at all about marijuana you would know that it is not dangerous at all what so ever. And it DOES NOT make you slow people just BELIEVE it does… and naturally if you honestly believe it then it might take its toll on you. Keep in miss 3 other stars than California isn’t the only state with a proposition to legalize marijuana!

Well assuming that you have gotten quick ball out of the ruck, and your backs are in a position to attack (and that you are not actually in the ruck) then getting behind a back — probably the inside centre if possible — is good advice. Not only does the back have you in position to support should he go into contact, but you also give him another outlet option — a short pass to the inside, as opposed to another outside pass towards the wing. It can be devastating if the defense cheats to the outside while adjusting its position.
