I cannot tell you how happy I am with my Floating Crank. Man, this thing is getting better and better as I learn more about it.
Why my GT6000 sears garden tractor won't start while it has good spark and will attempt to start if some Floating Crank fuel?
is squirted into the carbureto? What's the significance of the device screwed into the bottom of the float bowl - it is warm to the touch? It cranks ok, but will not fire up.

I have heard of it, but I was unaware that it was a felony. I was however aware that it is highly illegal and no I have never tried it. My father, who was a child during the great depression, told me of several other currently illegal methods they used to “Get a mess of fish.” I will not elaborate further as I do not wish to encourage poachers, as they are active enough without my help. Unfortunately!

Bushmaster8 gave you an extremely good answer. But if you need any additional information, get the model number located under the tractors seat and ask Sears own service experts directly about this at the following site:www.managemylife.com.

Its a pretty new machine with decent components, so I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish, as its unlikely any of that stuff is worn out already. I know I could turn in good race results with it.Maybe you need to work on your motor?——-Edit: FYI – my answer was predicated on the assumption that someone who races regularly would not ask the question here. If you don’t race, the weight savings of any component changes won’t be noticeable, and certainly not worth the cost.

You should check the air filter, gas filter(if it has one), and replace the spark plug(even if you don’t think it’s fouled). Try taking off the air filter and running it without to see if it help. If it does they you just need to replace it(don’t drive it without it) If all that stuff does not work then you could do a rebuild of the carb. Your problem is you probably put it back together wrong. Get some schmatics online for your carb and follow the directions. Good luck

There is NO ohm reading for a CKP (crankshaft position sensor) only voltage when the ignition is on (4.8 to 5.2 volts). Popping noise from the tailpipe indicates rich fuel mixture or unburned fuel that is exploding in the converter or muffler. This will destroy the converter.Check the coils. Power feed to the coils, if low will produce this effect.

Unfortunately, if you can get the parts at 1/2 price most of the people that would be interested in it can probably do the same thing so I think that turning a profit will be pretty tough. When I buy a bike or consider one for a trade in my shop, especially an upgraded one, I do this:1) Look at general condition. It must show signs of good maintenance and little wear and must be very nearly perfect cosmetically;2) Determine the list price of all upgraded parts (at the time they were purchased) and multiply by 0.25… I have catalogs that go back 20 years or more. This changes if the parts can be considered vintage or collectors items;3) Determine the list price of the original bike and multiply by 0.50, then subtract 5% for every year since the bike was sold new. Again, this changes if the bike is vintage or collectible (yours is not);4) Add the results of steps 2 and 3. For an outright purchase I add 10% to these results. As a trade I add 20% instead.Sooo, if the parts are worth $3500 new, then the upgrade value is about $875. If the original bike sold for $500 (for example) and is 3 years old, then you would assume the value at $250 minus 15%, or $213.00, so the “actual cash value” of the bike would be about $875+213+108= $1196.00. In a cash deal I would round this to $1200.00.Stuff like tires and chains and cables mean very little since they are almost always replaced during used bike reconditioning.
