Where can I get live fishing bait in the northern Boston suburbs?
I live in Malden and I am looking to get Fishing Bait some earthworms for fishing (freshwater). Does anybody know where I could get some? I haven't been able to find anything. Malden would be the best, but Medford, Melrose, Saugus, Everett, etc. all work too. Thanks!

There are various effective non-live baits (which don’t even look like dead things), like Gulp, PowerBait, and even plain old cream cheese.

wow i’ve never heard of an inside pier.must be exciting. anyway i imagine that the same type of bait that you would use for catfish whether inside or outside they are still the same.earthworms,stinkbait,cut up shad,sometimes a smaller fish cut up works too and my favorite that i use at a local river is beef liver,yes beef liver it bleeds better than chicken liver and also holds longer on the hook therefore your chances of a bigger catfish increases.good luck.

depends on the fish but ratalap salt water or GULP LIVE is also good for salt water

my suggestionsBass: plastic lizards, waterdogs, hydra fishing lureCatfish: stinkbaits, dough balls, crawdads, chicken liver, bluegill (highly suggested), minows, shrimp, clams, cut baitSteelheads: Pulling plugs, plastic worms, rigs, ragsNorthern Pike: 1/2 to 1 pound Walleyes, musky rig baithope this helps Good fishing! < *))))>

There are no real permanent solutions. However, there are temporary solutions that will get you through the day (or night).1) Keep your bait inside a cooler when not in use.2) Take your dog fishing. (Not recommended if your dog is a real killer)3) Flash them with a bright flash light. This will work on many birds at night. (Flashing worked better than a steady beam of light)4) Bring a spray bottle filled with water. When birds come close, squirt them directly between the eyes! If you can’t get them between the eyes, any other part of the body will also do the trick.PS: I recommend option number four. Its a “blast”.
