scarification ins and outs?
I've been working on a butterfly on my lower thigh. I try to postpone healing by using vaseline but I still heal too quickly, so for the past few months, I've been cutting over the old scar tissue and now I'm rubbing cigarette ashes into the wound. Time alone will tell how well that will go (but darn it hurt considerably more LOL) I'm laying down typing this on my iPod Craft Pointer touch because I feel like barfing LOLPerhaps my cuts (with an exacto knife) aren't deep enough?I would love some pointers from others who know this craft.thanks!Thank you for your concern and suggestions. No fears. I have Tobradex to use at the first sign of infection (it's a prescription antibiotic/steroid cream)I don't think I went deeply enough. I get worse scars from wrestling with my cats (but could that be becase of trace bacterias?)I used to be a self-injurer and I have a lot of very faint scars from them (again, they were "glorified cat scratches" in depth etc) but I want this one to stand out.I have a very light complection.I've done my research- but sites like wikipedia etc. don't give many precise details.Should I repost this in health? Where do posts on tattoos normally go?

Your jewelery may be incredibly cheap, but places like Ebay and Craiglist are places for items priced less than their value that people want to simply get rid of, rather than things priced to make money. I market an online art brokerage, and have found Ebay to not be of any help to us.I’m glad you’re taking the initiative to try online marketing, an initiative many aren’t attempting, but you’re pursuing the wrong angle. The first step is optimizing your website for SEO. Do you have text links to every page on your website, either on a sitemap, or on the homepage? Do you link only to businesses that relate to jewelry?Do you have effective keywords and descriptions in your meta tags?Do you emphasize those keywords throughout your website?Do all of your pages have different titles?Do all of your images have alternate text?Does your website load fast? Those are some basic steps to making your website more “google friendly”SEO alone is perhaps the most important factor in improving an online business. But adding keywords isn’t the only way to improve SEO. “Link juice” is a term referring to the number of websites linking to you. If a website with millions of visitors per day, for example, linked to you on their website, your website would be considered higher in Google because of it.There are quite a few vendors doing what you do. Make a links page, and ask some of your competition if you can set up a link exchange, in which you each link to each other’s website, improving both website’s SEO.Below I’ve listed some other websites you can list on to help improve SEO.Joeant.com (an online shopping directory $40 to list a website forever)Aboutus.org (Essentially wikipedia only for websites, although it’s not made by the makers of Wikipedia. A “nofollow” tag is added to articles, preventing Google from seeing aboutus.org linking to bad websites. However, if you write a well done article, you can submit it to http://www.aboutus.org/ProFollow. You can also have a professional write it, get the ads removed on your article, and get the “nofollow” tags automatically removed for a one time fee of $200)Delicious.com (a social bookmarking website for people to list and rate websites Free to list)Also, another problem with many websites is people are unsure about whether or not the website is secure. Web of Trust or WOT is a website reputation service based upon user ratings. You can get a trust badge for a yearly fee of $300 to put on your website (mywot.com)

Most probably think it’s all in people’s heads. Perhaps some believe in it. Atheism means no god, not no spirits.

It’s hard to correct it thoroughly on Y!A, but I will help with the major things. For the quote at the beginning of the paper it’s best to have it written as so: Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration -Thomas Alva Edison Your first paragraph was the worse, the rest will need someone to have a hard copy and just mark small mistakes such as repetitive words, near run-on sentences, etc. Your first two sentences can be merged together as the second one is a fragment. It should look something like this: I began playing the violin at eight when my mother decided that in order to reach “Intellectual Fulfillment”, it was necessary to develop my artistic side. Instead of having “I took it blindly” as a sentence, merge it on to the other sentence like this: Due to my apparent “talent” for ruining anything craft related, we chose music as the best avenue to accomplishment, which I took blindly. That is more professional and educated looking. You don’t need a comma after the word “after” in the following sentence. These are the biggest errors in the beginning. I’d definitely have someone read over this that can have a printed copy as your paragraphs are off by a little and you have small grammatical errors. You can email or Instant Message me and I’ll help you further. Your vocabulary is pretty good, so that is something you’ll have to do little to not changing on. Hope this helps.

Check with your local college counselor. They are good about helping find out what you need to do. I think you might be suprised by how much you will need to do though. My daughter is also interested & was told she had to go through a bunch of classes that didn’t relate to art, just general education stuff. You know the sciences, math and english. She just wanted to do art stuff.Good luck & enjoy.

Where did you come across this? I’ve never heard of it specifically, but the elements involved, knots, thread, patterns and so on are not at all uncommon. Do you know what culture (Celtic, Germanic, Greek, etc) it stems from?

We used to love Cootie Catchers, and we would play them all recess at school. I couldn’t tell you how to make one now, but my granddaughter just got one from a fast food place I think, and it’s all pre-printed and everything. Where’s the fun in that, eh?

The essay starts wonderfulThings you could correct:-You repeat his name too much, you could use: my grandfather, or he.-In paragraph four you get out of the topic, even though its great all those thing about you, you forgot about Popo.Remember that an admission essay has to be something that after they read it, its makes them feel some king of emotion, such as sigh and say what a wonderful girl, or, Popo must’ve been like this or like that.Try describing your grampa, and use more literary elements, like similies and Imagery.I wrote my admission essay on inspiration of a teacher.I started with inspiring the reader about my routine, then i introduced my teacher in my life, then third paragraph, i wrote about what happened that impacted my life, fourth paragraph, what caused her to do that (my problems and her understanding), fifth paragraph, how grateful i feel about her help and how much i appreciate what she’s done for me.

It’s a very competitive market for very little pay to get started. So many people want to brewers. Your best bet is to hound local breweries for some small job in the brewery and try to work your way in to helping with brew sessions and learn as much as possible about the process on a larger scale. Also, complete the American Brewers Guild, and many won’t even consider you unless you have this certification these days…
