Were there bogus Collins submarine plans floating around, dated later than 1986 and designed to mislead ?
Was there some sort of (presumably unintentional) sabotage of the original Collins submarine computerization ?Perhaps someone was barred from being involved and thought "If I'm Original Floating being booted off the job, I'll take some people with me", and doctored the plans. Were the people charged with finalizing the system in the position of saying"The integration can't proceed without a plan. We're sure there is a plan.We just don't know what it is".Surely a credible plan would be dated circa 1986. So if we find later plans floating around, are they bogus, and designed to mislead ?"An irrevocable decree overcame them all so that they passed away and the people came to be as though they had never existed." (lament for seville, 1267)To MorpheusThanks.

Colognes and perfumes go cloudy sometimes. If it still smells ok then it’s ok to use. If it smells funny, throw it out.

Im including a link to setup the Floyd Rose. However, it sounds like your strings are not clamped down hard enough or there is a worn part in your guitar. Make sure the locking nut, string block and saddle are all snug. If they are, detune the E and B strings and remove the E string. Check for a groove under the locking tab. Also, take out the string block and make sure that both there are no grooves where the string sits, and the block is not broken. They typically break under the little indentation. You can get replacement parts at either of the links… the string block and saddle are available at the last link. The Edge 3 is an excellent tremolo, it should work well. Also make sure that your tremolo is sitting correctly on the posts and that your springs are pushed all the way into the string block as well as everything in the tremolo cavity is securely mounted.

The exponent portion of the floating point number (the eight bits immediately after the sign bit) is being incremented at each step, from an original value of 125 (decimal), through 126 at the 1st shift, 127 at the 2nd, and 128 at the 3rd. When the exponent goes from 127 at the 2nd place shift to 128 at the 3rd, the binary number overflows to another digit (like in decimal when you go from 9 to 10, or 999 to 1000). So the exponent looks different. It’s being manipulated independantly of the mantissa, like you were turning two different knobs at the same time. The mantissa (the rest of the bits after the exponent) is being right shifted (divided by two) at the same time that the exponent is being incremented (multiplying the mantissa by two), so the value of the number remains the same. You’re losing precision when you do that, because you’re trading significant trailing zeros for non-significant leading zeros, which is a bad deal. But it looks a little weird (mind you, I’m not really taking the time to look at it too hard). The first step of shifting the tacit “hidden bit” into the mantissa is odd, because it’s, well, tacit, and you’d have to somehow flag that you don’t want to assume it’s there anymore. So it seems what they’re illustrating wouldn’t actually work at the first shift, but it’s late and maybe I’m just missing something.update: One thing that may need clearing up is that the exponent in floating point numbers is not a two’s complement number. There’s some number that’s chosen as meaning “zero”, and from all-bits-off to that number is considered negative, and from that number to all-bits-on is positive. So the number in this example overflowing to the 8th bit doesn’t flip the sign of the exponent. It’s just 125, 126, 127, 128. There’s no discontinuity. But I’m still weirded out by the first shift. By the way, shifting and manipulating floating points isn’t something you’d normally do in c. This is done in the floating-point libraries, or (most often) in hardware.

No with a floating lure you use no swivel or weight, tie the line directly to the metal loop at the nose of the lure

“The original ending to this film depicted Duckie getting the girl. However, the test audiences said they would have preferred to see Blane win Andie’s heart. Additionally, Molly Ringwald was sick during the filming of the ending and John Hughes wasn’t satisfied with the editing. He was also concerned that audiences would take the original ending as a message that poor people and rich people don’t belong together.”http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091790/triviaA review on Yahoo says it’s not on the DVD:http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/dvd/reviews/df/20020814/102933000002.html?id=1800365664

The original number is 285714!!!!!!!!!!!! :]look at it this way….the first number is 2A where “A” is whatever the rest of the digits are after the 2.so 3 x 2A=A2i then guess and checked my work…If A is a single digit then the equations becomes 3x (20+A)=10A+2if A is two digits it becomes 3 x (200+A)= 10A+2i kept this going basically adding a digit until i reached a number that i could solve the equation for.at A is 5 digits3 x (200000 + A) = 10A +2600000+3A=10A + 27A=599998A=85714

You should use this lure at anytime except when it is dark out. Personally i think that black and purple works best im most cases buy if you are just starting to use them get a orange or blue one they still work good. Cast them towards a structured area when possible. Jerk the lure so it wiggles under watter for a second let it come up wait a few seconds and repeat. If you are after big fish then use a bigger lure so the little fish wont bite it. if you are after anything use a smaller one. They work great i caught a 6 pond small mouth and they are worth the 9 dollars because they are hard to lose and they work better than any other plug lure from my exexperiencexperience

Janet, do yourself a favor, get out of those funds…….buy the book “The Successful Investor”, familiarize yourself with morningstar.com fund screener(free), get an online brokerage account with Tradeking.com(ranked #1 2006/7) or whichever you prefer and once this market turns back around, invest in something like CGMFX, 10 year track record of >2X the market…..

the best tip i can give you is, don’t buy fish from Walmart. They arent even good as feeder fish. They don’t treat the fish properly and the fish can have diseases and other things that can infect other fish in the tank.

I found your exact quotation attributed to Voltaire in many places, however you might consider that he did not really say it. The following excerpt is from a biography of Voltaire. “Voltaire is reputed to have proclaimed about the bible, “In 100 years this book will be forgotten and eliminated…”, although there is no direct evidence that he made such a statement. “

Okay, the only reason you should even care how much an item is worth is if you plan on taking out an insurance policy on it. (Sears Catalogue? I don’t recommend even thinking about it.) Beyond that, an item is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. The best way to determine value is to see how much simular items have been purchased for. That’s far more valuable information than what any appraiser can say.And $20 is probably about right. How many people do you know collect sears catalogues? That’s what I thought.
