wierd things you've seen caught or caught yourself while fishing?
mine, i've caught 3 anchor, a flashlight and ball of lures (9countdown and 3 shad raps), my girlfriend caught 2 anchors one had line with a sheephead on the end of it, seen my friend catch a couple anchor, a $200 muskie net, and one time funniest thing i've Shad Rap ever seen, he was jigging for walleyes, he's swears he had a bite hooked a fish ,it was something big, got it in and it was a big nasty dead carp. looked like it had been dead for months stunk so bad we had to leave. funniest part about was, it was hooked in the mouth.. i must of stunk up a square mile it was so bad.man i need to start reading what i write. it must of not i, but i have been known stink up good areaseen no eyed sheephead, smallmouth with a jighead hanging out of his butt(i took it out for him, if anyone was wondering, it looked pretty red and sore) seen a couple fish caught in the butt, that pretty funny if you think about

Good answer on repair! Also it may be a company color pattern made for those stores only I have come up against this before with other lures too.You will need to find the original package and get a hold dealer direct for the color coding and store to find out about the pattern of choice if it a custom store color.But then like I had to do is order no less than 1 case pack of the lures I wanted for my stores!For me and the lures needed was 48 lures total!

Crankbaits work all throughout the year. The thing about the shad rap RS is that it suspends, which means that when you stop your retrieve, it neither sinks nor floats. This quality makes it a MUST for winter bass fishing. And yes, it will work in the summer too. Find a ledge, channel drop, or other steep drop off and cast to the ledge, retrieving the crank from shallow to deep. Or, if you have a rocky bottom, retrieve it quickly and bounce it off the bottom. When you feel it hit something, stop reeling and let it suspend for a second or too. You’ll get strikes when you pause. Keep in mind that you can adjust the running depth by what line you use. Lighter test line and fluorocarbon line will run deeper, monofilament line and heavier test line will run shallower.Good luck!

Shad raps imitate injured baitfish. Bass love baitfish. So yes, it works for bass.

he will be fine. on most lures they are hooked in the mouth and they are quite capable of shaking it loose. keep an eye on the shoreline and you will probably find it floating there.bass all the time throw lures after being hooked. one almost got me in the face thursday when he spit my popper back at me.missed me by “this much”.

i have a rapala dvd that showed it fished so slow that it stayed on the surface the entire steady retrieve, and caused a nice little wake. i’ve tried this with a little luck. the technique landed me a baby (14” )musky in ohio. so that’s a case of extremes when you ask ‘how slow?’ but it does illistrate that as slow as you want is ok. but i usually take it a bit faster than that. just enough to make it dive subsurface. that gets me more fish than using it as a topwater lure. deep enough so it disappears, but not so fast that it’s action is extremely erratic.
