When Spinner Bait arrived, I opened the package and was impressed with the solid packaging which insured Spinner Bait didn’t arrive damaged in any way, shape, or form.
Overall, my experience was amazing. I hope this helps you make a solid buying decision.
stream trout fishing question about bait?
ok now i know where to find trouts, but the question Spinner Bait is, what is the best bait for that? also... i think this stream holds only small ones, so wouldn't the fly kind of in line spinner bait little bit too big for them?

An all around lure that I’ve used consistently with success after success from March in the spring, until well after the 1st frost and even into November, here in NW Indiana, has been the 10″ Berkeley “Original” Powerbait Worm. Sure, the 7″ worm works ok, but bigger bait = bigger fish, at least most of the time, as I have twice caught 8″ L/m bass on the 10″ worm, and many (sheesh, I’ve lost count, but many = lots & lots) up to 21 & 3/4″ L/m bass as well. Can you even imagine? The bass around here just simply hate this bait, no matter whether you fish it deadstick, or work it across the top of the water at a rapid pace, or any way in between. Just the other day, I was able to contact the folks @ Berkeley and ask what is going on with the “original” series Powerbait, as the only (Berkeley) soft plastics that are in the Cabela’s Master Spring Catalog is the Gulp products, (which I tried ‘em, but won’t buy/use them again because they get hard after you open the package, and you can’t reuse them like the “Original” Powerbait.) The other Q. I asked about was that nobody sells the 100 pack, packages in the colors that I use. I not only got an answer, but found out that I can get the colors that I want, in the quantity that I want, and I can live w/the price, too. So,… other than a jig & minnow for walleye, & white bass, my all around favorite is…….The “Original” 10″ Powerbait Worm. Now how did you guess that it would be my # 1 choice. And No,…..they’re not giving me anything free for plugging their product, darn it all.Goodluck & Good fishing

on or around rocks in So Cal I would suggest plastics lizards first and tubes in seasonal colors of crawdads and frog patterns (plastics can be rigged weedless and can be fished without a wrong direction or presentation being backwards or subtly congruent to natures way) Spinner baits (not spinners) from the boat for sure and crankbaits where weeds and bottom growth would give cause for continual hang ups and snags. If spinners is what you primarily fish with then I would use the colors of the larger bugs about the region during the time of year you are fishing. Like hornets, wasps, yellow jackets and bees….. (but i would still throw a lizard in a rock pile for sure!)

No , I used to think it would be too small, til I tried it. Now most of my trailer hooks are 1/0.

ultra light is not suitable for casting spinnerbaits. most weigh upwards of 1/2 an ounce with a very light one weighing 1/4oz. an ultralight outfit has not the backbone to cast or set the hook with these.better off with a medium heavy rod and at least a sturdy spin-cast reel although a good baitcaster would be far superior.

The Surgeon’s Loop. It allows the lure to maintain it’s natural motion and not be stuck in one place which will get you more strikes. I’ll leave a website to show how to tie that and other knots. Good luck fishin’!http://animatedknots.com/surgeonsloop/index.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.comhttp://animatedknots.com/indexfishing.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com

Yes you should put a trailer hook on. It will sometimes affect the plastic trailer but not as likely if you use the shorter trailer hooks. The chances of short strikes and lost fish due to not having the trailer hook on are too great not to put one on. I have caught thousands of bass hooked only on the trailer hook. If I had not put one on then I would have a lot of frustration instead of Bass.Good luck.

If the water is murky try using some thing with more vibration. I would recommend chartrues spinnerbaits with 2 willow leaf blades on sunny days and black and red ones on cloudy days. Fo top water always remember to work it slow and try Zara spooks, and the color doesn’t mater because the belly is always white, and thats all they see. Topwater will work best on overcast days. Also try DRAGGING dark colored jigs with big meaty trailers on the bottom. And use crawdad colored crankbaits.

#2 Gold mepps with a worm , wrap the worm around the 3 prong hook with some of it dangling behind, trolling is best the spinner really attracts themGood luck
